Chapter 24 Raging tigress

Evie squinted her eyes and yawned softly, her head felt a little heavy. She sat up on the bed before yawning again. After a few seconds her brows creased as reality dawned on her,

"What da fuck!" she exclaimed and quickly got down from the bed.

'How did I get here?' she thought, she looked around the luxurious room she was at, it felt like she was in the most expensive suite at one of those top notch hotels.

She looked at the white baggy shirt she was wearing, "What happened to my clothes? OMG" she ran her hand through her thick brown hair.

She sat down on the bed and tried to recall what had happened the previous night but she couldn't. The last thing she remembered was her entering the club and ordering some shots, she didn't know what happened after.

"Please let what am thinking not be true" she muttered while pulling her hair.

She heard the door open and her eyes widened at the figure that stepped inside.

"Good morning" Jarad said lazily, he folded his hands and leaned on the wall.

"You!" Evie walked angrily towards him and he kept a passive expression "What did you do to me? How dare you touch me" She grabbed his shirt and pushed him to the wall and he let her do it without defending himself.

"Tell me!" she yelled, she was utterly frustrated cause he wasn't saying anything. She gave him a hard punch on his face, at least she thought it was hard.

He bit his lips and shut his eyes, pretending like her punch had hurt him.

"You touched me didn't you?!" she hit his chest, she was about to punch him again when he held her small frail hands and he smirked which seemed to irk her the more. He really missed the little bunny of the previous night compared to the raging tigress that was fuming with anger Infront of him.

Evie breathed heavily while he Starred calmly at her. He switched their position making her back hit the wall while he was Infront of her, he held both her hands above her head with one hand and he used the other to trap her between himself and the wall.

"Stop acting like a raging tigress, you're suppose to be thanking me for last night" he said

"Thank you for what?"

"Saving your ass, that's what" he replied

Evie scoffed, "You touched me didn't you?" it was more of a statement than a question.

"Yes, am your boyfriend so I have the right to touch you however I want"

Evie's eyes widened a little, now that he was her contract boyfriend he did have the right to touch her and ask those kind of things from her.

"I really wished you were fully awake when that happened cause it was a really pleasurable night" he grinned. He freed her hand and left the room.

"What!" Evie screamed in her head, she immediately ran after him.

"Jarad!" she yelled as she went down the stairs with him , the mansion was indeed luxurious.

" No need to scream I can here you" he said as they walked through a long passage.

"Repeat what you said" Evie tried to catch up with him cause he took longer strides and her small legs found it hard to catch up.

"I said a lot of things"

"What did we do last night?" she demanded answers from him. they went through another series of stairs and in the process, she missed her steps and almost fell but Jarad caught her by the waist, he pulled her closer to himself.

"We didn't do anything, but if you want I can make those things I said come true. Stop seducing me Evie " he warned.

"How am I seducing you?" She asked innocently.

"You keep making me get this close to you" he whispered in the crook of her neck "You're wearing a shirt with no undergarments on, isn't that enough to classify as the ultimate seduction?" he asked.

Evie was rendered speechless, she didn't know what to say. Her face turned bright red at the realization she was bare beneath the baggy shirt.

"Go back to the room, freshen up and wear some decent clothing" Jarad said, he snapped his fingers and a maid came to his side and she bowed her head.

"Fix up this little tigress for me, I've got work to do" Jarad ordered the maid.

"Tigress?" Evie tilted her head.

"Get going I've work to do " he nudged her so she could get far away from him and his lustful demons. The maid lead her away and Jarad heaved a sigh when she was out of sight.

The maid led her back to his room and shut the door behind her. She quickly went to prepare a bath for her while Evie just sat on the bed, she was still very much flustered about what Jarad did and said to her. She could still remember the impact of his breath on the crook of her neck, she had tried to keep a relaxed expression but only God knew the turmoil that was boiling inside her.

Soon enough the bath was ready and Evie stepped inside. Unlike the rude and bossy maid she last encountered, this one was nice and obedient so Evie dismissed her from the bathroom so she could bathe herself. When she was done, she went back to the room and the maid helped her apply different lotions on her skin and also combed her hair.

A black handless gown was brought for Evie to wear and it looked classy and expensive. She wore it with some black flats with diamonds around it.

"Young master is waiting for you at the dinning area, allow me to lead the way" the maid said politely.

"What's your name?" Evie asked out if mere curiosity.

"Penny" the maid replied with her tiny voice.

"How old are you?"

"24" penny replied respectfully

"Hmm" Evie hummed as she realized the girl was about 3 years older than her.

Evie allowed penny the maid, to lead the way to the dinning area. When they got there Evie marvelled at the structures of the place, about 20 chairs were placed in each sides of the table. Jarad was sitting at the head of the dinning.

Evie took her seat in a chair that was a Little far from him.

"What are you busy doing sitting all the way there Evie?" Jarad asked her without taking his eyes off the files he was reading.

"It doesn't really matter where I sit" Evie stated.

"Yes it does, come over here" he smirked at her, she rolled her eyes before going to seat at the chair closest to him.

"I didn't tell you to sit there did I?" he questioned.

'He is back to irking me' thought Evie.

"Where do I seat?!" she yelled starring at him with pure annoyance as she stood up from the chair. He pulled her wrist making her fall on his laps,

"I want you to seat right here" he circled his hands around her waist

"I don't want to" Evie protested.

"I need you close to me , so I can keep an eye on you. It feels like everytime I take my eyes off you, you go around causing troubles" he patted get head, "Stick with me parker" he said, that was the first time he was calling her with her last name.

"You're unbelievable " Evie muttered but Jarad heard it so he just chuckled.

"Can I ask you something?" Jarad asked.

"W ..what is it?" she was a little hesitant about answering any questions from him.

"Have sex with me?" he blurted shamelessly and blood was quick to rush to Evie's cheeks.
