10 Chapter 10

I miss you so much

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Where the hell were you today?" Jo asks to lean against her car.
"I was hanging out with Dean," I say simply walking up to the front door.
"I can see that. What did you guys do?" she asks interested.
"We hung out at the bowling alley," I say happily.
"You two are adorable," she laughs.
"It was a date," I inform.
"Wait seriously?" she asks, shocked.
"Yep," I smile.
"Ok, I need details," she demands.
Jo left about an hour ago, I told her all about my day and we just kinda relaxed for an hour or so. I am in my room reading a book when I hear a knock at the front door, "Hey Dean," I say with surprise.
"Hello Princess," he greets.
"Come in," I say standing aside.
"I haven't stopped thinking about you since I dropped you off," he says fast. Before I have time to respond, he continues, "will you be my girlfriend? Will you be mine?"
For a few seconds we just kinda stared at each other, both of us lost in each other. "Yes".
"What?" he asks, confused.
"Yes, I will be your girlfriend," I elaborate.
"Wait really?" he asks, a little shocked.
"Yes," I repeat.
He walks a little closer to me and stops right in front of me, "can I kiss you?"
"Yes," I laugh.
Dean slowly wraps his arms around my waist pulling me as close as I can get to him. Our eyes meet before mine glance down at his lips. As our lips crash together for the first time, I feel a wave of electricity flow through every nerve in my body. The kiss isn't very heated but it is incredibly passionate and loving. Do you know how many times I have daydreamed about this moment over the past few weeks? And now it is finally happening. And one hundred times better than I could have ever imagined.
Eventually, we needed air so we were forced to separate but there still wasn't much space between our bodies. "God I have wanted to do that for a while," Dean breathes out.
"I have wanted you to do that for a while," I sigh happily.
"Hi girlfriend," Dean smiles.
"Hello boyfriend," I say smiling as well.
We stayed close, just looking into each other's eyes.
Don't do it.
Don't do it.
Don't be that stupid.
You just got into this relationship.
It's too fast.
DON'T DO IT.
"You know it will get kinda lonely here all by myself". You idiot.
"Yeah?" he questions with a smirk.
"Maybe you could stay here with me?" I ask hopefully.
"Really? You want me to stay here with you?" he asks shocked.
"Yeah, I mean only if you want to," I say looking down at the floor between us.
Dean uses his fingers to move my head up, so I look up at him, "I would love to".
"Don't expect to get any though," I tease.
"Damn," he says jokingly.
"Are we moving too fast?" I ask seriously.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean we have only been friends for a few months, dating for a day, boyfriend and girlfriend for like five minutes and now you are moving in with me for a month," I explain.
"Yeah I guess we are moving fast but I think as long as we are both comfortable and happy then it's ok. And in the next month I can leave whenever you want me to," he reassures. I smile and press my lips against his.
"What are you going to tell your parents?" I ask pulling away quickly.
"Most of the truth. I'll just tell them my friend's parents are out of town and he doesn't want to be alone," he smiles.
"And they are going to believe you?" I laugh.
"Yeah, I have done it before with Dani," he informs.
"Really?"
"Yep. Ok I will go pack my bag and then I will be back," he smiles letting go of my waist. I let out a little whine with the loss of contact, causing Dean to laugh, "I will be back in an hour, ok?"
"Yeah ok," I sigh sadly as Dean slowly backs towards the door. Dean just laughs a little before exciting my house leaving me alone.
I decided I should probably call Jo and tell her everything, so I climbed the stairs and entered my room. I clicked Jo's name and waited for her to answer the call. A few seconds later her face appears on my screen, "Bro I left like an hour ago. What do you want?" she asks playfully.
"I have some news..." I start.
"What could have possibly happened in an hour?"
"Dean came over like twenty minutes ago," I say but she interrupts me.
"You fucked?"
"What? No. He asked me to be his girlfriend," I say not being able to hold back my smile.
"And you said...?"
"Yes, obviously".
"Yay," she cheers happily.
"That's not all..." I add hesitantly.
"What else?" she asks tensely.
"Well, you know how my parents are out of town for the month?"
"You didn't," she says sounding disappointed.
"You don't even know what I was going to say," I fight.
"Ok. Fine. What did you do?" she asks even though be both know what I did.
"I invited him to stay with time the whole month," I mutter.
"I knew it. Why on earth would you do that?"
"I don't know but I am happy I did," I say honestly.
"Are you sure about this?"
"Yes. I know we are moving a little fast but I don't know it feels so right," I try to explain.
Jo and I talked for a little while longer - mostly about Dean but we also talked about the guy she likes, Corbyn. Corbyn is on the school's soccer team but he isn't popular or anything. We are sort of friends with him, Jo more than me. I mean he is a cool guy, we just don't have any classes together so we don't see each other a lot. While we talked, I organized my room a little making sure Dean had enough room for his clothes. I emptied three drawers in my dresser and moved all the clothes that I didn't think I would wear for the next month into the spear bedroom closet.
I hear a muffled "ding-dong" coming from downstairs, "Oh there's my boyfriend, I should go get that," I say happily.
"OK, I love you. Be safe," she says before hanging up.
"Asswhole," I laugh to myself as I run down the stairs. I open the door to see my amazing boyfriend standing in front of a beautiful sunset. "Why hello boyfriend". I love how that sounds.
"Hello girlfriend," he smiles walking into the house, dropping his bags and smashing his lips against mine.
