The male host escorted him to a table near the window. No one was sitting there.

"Yes Mr. Atsui, Ms. Katagiri did come here and She left around 10 minutes ago. We served her our Crème Brulée as per your request. She was really happy and complimented our chef." The host said.

A smile appeared on his face, the thought of Shizu's beautiful face enjoying the desserts made him happy. It would have been perfect if he was also there to watch her eating. He then pulled the chair and sat down. He needed to cool his head down.

"Let me stay here for a bit." Kira requested. The escort nodded then excused himself.

Kira wanted to take a taxi and go to Shizu's house but it was late- Shizu had a very strict father and he'd rather wait than making her father his enemy. He took out his phone and it was dead. He pulled his hair back then searched his pocket. He took out the small velvet box that he had been keeping for days.

What a very long day. He thought.

"Kira? What are you doing here?" a sexy blonde girl came and approached him.

Her name was Melody, a famous singer that happened to work under the same label as Kumo Bell. She was wearing a short white dress and a pair of black boots.

"Hi Melody, I came to see my girlfriend. Anyway wow, you look so beautiful! Are you on a date too?" Kira asked.

"Nah, I just had dinner with my parents. They came all the way from Mexico. What is that thing you're holding?"

"Oh this? Have a seat." Kira said while opening the little blue box he was holding. Melody was then seated in front of Kira.

"I am giving this to Shizu. Do you think she'll like it?" You could see a small diamond ring. Melody's eyes were rounded, her face was beaming from excitement.

"You're proposing to her? That's awesome, YES! She'll definitely love it! Good luck!" Melody nodded and clapped her hands cheerfully, she then started speaking in Spanish accent that would come out when she got too excited. Well she did grow up in Mexico. Kira giggled as he was satisfied with her reaction. Shieu would definitely love it!

"Really? Yes I am."

The next day, Shizu went to the school with a very mixed feeling. She missed Kira so badly and he didn't even call to wish her a happy birthday.

She tried to call him but his phone was dead, she stayed up all night waiting for his call.

They were inseparable before Kumo Bell debuted. You would never find one without the other. Shizu did not have a lot of friends because her strict father forbad her from going out. Her world was so small. But that changed when she started going out with Kira, he was such a charmer that he earned her father's trust. Hence slowly, her world got bigger. He was her world.

She knew that Kira was working to fulfill his dreams. No matter what happened, she would never ask Kira to choose between her and his job. It would be too cruel.

If they were in the same situation, Shizu would work hard to achieve her goals and she would never give up on Kira. That's why she decided to support him. Even though at times, things could get really hard.

She's kinda got used to it, Kira's busy schedule. It's just that this time, this heavy feeling on her chest occured because she really missed him.

As she entered the class, she found her classmates gathered around Ayu's table while reading an article.

"Shizu look! It's on the magazine!" Ayu, the small-figured girl waved her hand at Shizu telling her to come. There was a picture of Kira showing a ring box to Melody.

Shizu dropped her jaw, she could not say anything as her friends bombed her with questions. Mika took the magazine from Shizu then growled.

"What the hell!?" She threw away the magazine.

"Good morning everyone!" Kira entered the classroom with a big smile, he was wearing the school uniform for the first time after 1 month.

"Where's my baby girl? Ah there she is. Sasuke, move aside, I wanna hug my birthday girl and not you!" Kira pushed Sasuke away and approached Shizu but then he slowed down as he saw Shizu's tears.

He turned his focus to the magazine on the table then frowned. Probably that's why Natsu the manager tried to call him 30x this morning to inform him about the gossip. Kira did not pick up, he was giving Natsu an attitude because he was still upset about the interview.

Kira took the magazine then laughed. "Shizu, this is a joke. You know they make this kind of rubbish all the time right?"

"Excuse me?"

Kira knew that tone. That's the tone she used when she got really angry.

"You're kidding right? I am your boyfriend. You should listen to me and me only. Last night I was..."

"You're full of excuses." She interrupted.

"I'm tired of your celebrity life. You're never there for me, I just want to have a simple life and a normal boyfriend who stays with me all the time. Why do I have to listen to all your excuses all the time, the celebrity life I dont like it. I've never asked you to do it. I've never liked any of it!" She shouted.

'No.' She thought.

'No.' She did not mean to say it.

She couldn't believe those words came out of her mouth so effortlessly. It was just an angry rant. A very mean one.

'I'm sorry Kira, I'm sorry.' Her heart was screaming but those words did not make it out of her mouth. She could not control the hot tears that fell on her cheeks so she ran out of the classroom leaving Kira speechless.

Kira lowered his head. He could feel the gaze of his classmates. Were they giving him sympathy? Nope, he did not need any of it. His heart was shattered.

He rested his eyes, took a deep breath then walked out of the classroom.
