Chapter 1.5: Let Me Protect You

As Souta walked into the school he saw both Nico and Sora approaching him

"Yo! Sou-kun!"

"Good morning Souta"

"Hi guys."

"Apparently they've posted our results on the bulletin board."

"Let's check!"

"Nico! Slow down!"

"We're here!"

"Sora-kun, I found your name!"

Looking for his name Souta found himself at 2nd place

"Wow! You guys did really well!"

"Of course it's only natural I'd come before Souta!" Sora said with pride

'You know when I first met Sora, I thought he was cool, quiet and reserved, I didn't know he was a fucking narcissist!'

'I think you're just angry because you were second place.'

'Shut it Kiyoko!'

"Anyways, what about you Nico?"

"I got 12th place! I checked and that girl Yua got 6th place!"

"Why'd you bother checking?"

"Because I know you'll both get married to each other someday!"

At the drop of that statement Sora burst out laughing

"Whatever..though it's still surprising out of 150 students only 27 passed?"

"Not my problem!"

"Of course it isn't your problem!"

"Well this is our stop! See ya Sora-kun!"

"Bye."

Well Souta ended up in the same class as Nico, Yua and Kenji."

Throughout the entire class, Kenji kept his eye on Yua.

'What a creep!'

'I know right.'

As class ended and everyone was leaving, Yua bumped into Kenji.

'Nope! Not letting this happen!'

As Kenji tried to strike a conversation with Yua, he saw Souta behind her and sneered.

'Activate skill: FEARFUL ENTITY'

As he continued to talk to Yua, it seemed as though some sort of huge pressure was dropped on him. He looked up to see Souta, though smiling with malicious intent hardly hidden. And….he ran.

'Now, time to see Yua's love percentage for Kenji' He thought while walking away with Nico

RIVAL LOVE PERCENTAGE: 5%

"Hey Souta! Nico!"

"Hi Sora-kun!"

"I met a guy I want to introduce you to!"

"Knew you were a fa*got."

"Ah….after all it takes one to know one."

"Anyways, who is he?"

"His name is Jyugo Sugoroku! He said we should meet him by the rooftop."

"I hope your future husband isn't suicidal."

"How about you shut your mouth Souta."

"Nico! Sora's bullying me!"
