8 Heading to the dorms(1)

"I believe we've said this before..get out of our house!"

Ju Jing frowned and nodded, she stared at Tang Xue Mei one last time but this time her eyes were filled with the same hatred, Tang Xue Mei felt during her death.

"Wait!"

Tang Can shouted, she walked over to Ju Jing and tore the hem of gown, she kept doing so till it was all the way to her thighs.

"This dress belongs to Xue Mei and if she doesn't wear it then you have no right to do so.."

Ju Jing sneered as she nodded with a subtle smile on her face.

The party had ended before it could begin, Mr and Mrs Tang spent their time apologizing to the guests and also sending them off while Tang Can helped clean.

Feng Shihan and Tang Xue Mei were the only ones left who weren't preoccupied.

"Thank you for helping me out back there.."

"Mhm..Xu Dan lets go i think it's about ten minutes i don't have time to waste.."

Placing his hands into his pocket, Feng Shihan walked out, when he had gotten to the door he stopped and turned back to look at Tang Xue Mei.

"Little girl you don't know what you've gotten yourself into, you belong me to me now.."

He chuckled shortly before walking out. Tang Xue Mei frowned though she didn't want to be involved with Feng Shihan he was the only one powerful enough to get the Du family off her back.

Everyone was busy cleaning up so she used this opportunity to slip out and hide in the garden.

This was her happy place, she liked to lie on the grass and connect to the world, she liked the feeling she got when she closed her eyes and she could hear the koi fish playing in the pond.

In short it was very blissful, it was also a place where she could sit down and arrange her thoughts.

Now that she had successfully removed Du Xuan the leech from her back, she could now focus on other things. Which was moving out, in her past life she had also moved out and gone to stay in the place Ju Jing suggested.

She had literally carried her to the dead end parts of the capital, which spoiled her reputation more and more.

"If i didn't die i would never have believed i was this foolish.."

Tang Xue Mei stayed in the garden before Tang Can came to meet her there.

"It's late, you haven't gotten a decent amount of food and it's almost 2 now, you must be starving."

"Yes! I'm so hungry i can't even feel my stomach anymore.."

Tang Can chuckled and poked Tang Xue Mei's stomach, it was flat and soft not toned like someone who usually worked out.

"Don't exaggerate it!.."

Tang Xue Mei chuckled though it may sound like exaggeration but she remembered when she had fallen into Ju Jing's clutches and how she would go days without eating.

Tang Can and Tang Xue Mei hadn't gotten far when they saw Su Huiying and Tang Zijun heading their way.

"Mei we'll like to have some words with you..in the study.."

Tang Xue Mei nodded she knew she would have to explain some things to her parents, she would be moving out soon, after getting rid of Du Xuan, the next step was to move out and move into the dorms in the university, there she would slowly pick up the pieces of her life.

"You better have a good excuse, i can't believe you.. in front of all those people!"

"Mum, dad i'm sorry that i've embarrassed you but i won't go back on my word i truly have no desire to marry Du Xuan anymore.."

Tang Xue Mei expression was blank, she voiced to her parents openly she didn't back down on her words, she needed them to know that her decisions where firm.

"Though we're happy that you've decided to leave that scumbag, we wished you had told us before hand. You made us look like fools in front of our guests.."

Tang Xue Mei nodded if they felt that they were fools now then if she had let this slide, they would have been made even bigger fools by Ju Jing in the future.

If they felt a little bit of shame now then it was for the best. They would not suffer in the future.

"I also have one request to make.."

"What is it? As long as it makes you happy we will grant it..."

"I wish to move out and live in the dorms.."

Su Huiying immediately shook her head, she was still so young how could she be able to take care of herself.

She didn't even know how to cook.

"No i refuse you can't take care of yourself properly we won't feel comfortable knowing our daughter is out there alone.."

Though Su Huiying disagreed, Tang Zijun agreed, she was old enough to make her own decisions, they could only wish the best for her.

"Just make sure to call us once in a while.."

"What..Zijun you're agreeing to her request.."

Tang Zijun nodded he held Tang Xue Mei hands gently, all he ever wished for was for his daughter to be happy if moving out will make her happy why should they deprive her of it.
