Chapter 109: I Know Your Secret

"Bev what's going on? Why was Ricky like that earlier?" A concerned Aubrey asked Beverly once they were alone.

Seemingly innocent, this question promptly caused Beverly to burst into tears.

"Bree! I messed up." Beverly said amidst hiccups.

"Huh?! What happened?" A genuinely confused Aubrey inquired.

"Ricky hates me now. We're not friends anymore." Beverly explained, eliciting a shocked look from her friend.

"What!? Since when?!" The corned beef hash fell from Aubrey's fork but she did not notice. This was much more pressing.

"Since a few months ago…" The stunning brunette said in a small voice.

"What!? But weren't we just together today?" Aubrey pointed out with a frown.

Beverly let out a dissatisfied sigh.

"That's all for show… for you… In reality, we haven't seen each other in months. We don't talk anymore."
