55 Elementaryization

The Fire Pillar grew even more as Paul forgone the control of the flames, Luckas at the center of the pillar felt the strain in his mind increase, suddenly Luckas desperate scream ceased and he lost consciousness. As he lost consciousness the fire pillar that quickly revolved around him started to dissipate, yet some of the flames started to flow towards Luckas, involving him in a blanket of flames.

Philips saw the fire pillar vanish and rushed towards Luckas with anxiety in his eyes, as he approached Luckas he saw the fire blanket around him. Philips stopped close to it and waited, the anxiety in his eyes quickly turned into excitation.

-" Are these Fire Sprites?" Philips shocked was he observed the flow of Fire Qi and found some specks of red light approaching Luckas. " Elementaryization. I can't believe I'm seeing this a second time in my life." Philips's eyes were almost popping out of his face.

Numerous questions came to him, Was Luckas elementaryization related to his transmigration? Or he just had an unnatural Fire Affinity since coming to this world? Philips tried his best to put those questions aside, yet, no matter how much he tried Luckas existence puzzled him.

-" Luckas, Why did you transmigrate here? It was just by pure luck?" Philips stared deeply at the fire blanket as distant memories came to him.

His older brother, Maven, had experienced the process of elementaryization too, but, he was at the Foundation Establishment when it occoured, helping Maven to alleviate the strain that the process put on his mind, yet, Philips thought that Maven was never the same after the elementaryization.

-" I hope that you can stand this, if so, you will be an unparalleled force on this world." Philips sat down and waited for Luckas elementaryization to finish.

Elias and his group were escaping from the Heigong encirclement when they noticed the fire pillar vanishing he had no idea if this was a good or bad thing for them, nevertheless, he kept running. He wanted to find the Strafhamptons forces and ally with them to fight the Heigong.

-" Hey, why aren't we moving towards the western part of the forest?" Mathias was confused as they quickly ran towards the direction of the fire pillar, the memory of the strange, yet, seemingly deadly phenomenon still fresh on his mind.

-" Noah was sent there, if he didn't reunite with us until now, he must be there still!"

-" So what? Did you think that he could survive that?" Mathias's face was pale as he kept trying to convince Elias to escape from the forest.

-" We cant confirm that, and even if he is dead, we should bring his body back." Elias was annoyed with Mathias incessant pestering, He and Noah were the ones that forced him to move sooner.

-" Bring his what? Do you seriously think that he's still got a body? Are you blind? Didn't you see the power of that thing?" Elias was already injured and just thinking about facing the person responsible for the fire pilar made him shudder in fear.

-" Hey, if you three don't want to die follow me out of there, Elias was gone crazy and will lead all of us to our deaths." Mathias stopped quickly and spoke to the three women with them.

-" Mathias, do you dare to run away? What about Noah? And the mission that the Sect Leader gave us?" Elias was shocked by Mathias's shamelessness, he was about to continue scolding him when he saw the three ladies stop.

Elias's face was full of bitterness as he continued. -" If you guys want to run away, so be it, but keep it in your mind that the failure of this mission will fall on your cowardice!"

Elizabeth and Lissandra didn't pay any mind to Elias's scoldings and followed Mathias, however, Madeline clenched her firsts as she heard him. She had expectations to meet, if she kept running away and failing everything that she was ordered was she truly worth of her position? Madelina shook her head and decided to follow Elias.

Elias saw that only Madeline followed him and nodded, he knew the pressure that the young lady had on her. While she couldn't help too much in the rest of the mission, her bravery was something that should be applauded.

Elizabeth and Lissandra were relieved that Madeline didn't follow them, she was the weakest in the group, and surely would weigh them down on the escape.

As the groups divided and headed separate ways, the Heigong cultivators in their chase noticed it too. They decided to divide their forces too, the original group of twenty cultivators of the Heong were now twelve, one cultivator died at the hands of Philips, and the other seven missing were Paul, Edwards, and their respective disciples.

-" Where are Edward and his group? Did they run away?" One of the four elders who came asked as they were about to split up.

-" He said that he would go to the other Strafhampton camp." Brent, who was one of the Left Guardian underlings tried to cover for him.

-" Sure, Sure." The elder had a mocking smile on his face. " He must be afraid and ran away, tsk, Why did he even come?"

-" It doesn't matter if he ran away or not, victory is in our grasp, we need to eliminate everyone on the Eternal Sun Sect group." Brent quickly changed the subject, he knew that it was useless to defend Edwards's honor to them. " Who are you going after?"

-" The biggest one, of course, Me and my disciples will go after them, George will come with us too." The elder quickly decided. "Let's make groups of six, we will meet in the Strafhmapton further camp after finishing this."

The groups were quickly formed and headed their way, with Brent following just behind Elias and Madeline. Elias felt that they were just behind them and held Madeline in his arms to speed their retreat. He was heading towards the direction of the Fire Pillar because he had suspicions that Philips was playing them.

The number of demonic beasts in the area surrounding the treasure had increased by an enormous amount and especially Noah's disappearance made him suspicious. When the Heigong attacked, Noah's first thought would be to go and help them, as he never came, there were only two options, he met his end against someone from the Heigong, or someone was holding him there.
