The Day We Met Each Other
FLASHBACK DREAM:
*bells ring*
Little Jomari: "*sighs* Everyday is always a lonely day"
*walks out the door of the classroom and go to the playground swing*
Little Jomari: "Why does everyone don't want to be my friend? Is there something wrong with me? I know I'm a troublesome kid but I can change"
*bushes rustle near the swing*
Little Crystal: "*pops out of the bush then shouts* Hello kid, want to be my friend?"
Little Jomari: "Ahhhhh! Who are you?!"
Little Crystal: "I thought you need a friend to comfort you. So here I am."
Little Jomari: "Ok, I'm fine with that but what are you doing here and do you have many friends?"
Little Crystal: "I'm just watching the kids play over there. And no, I dont have any friend except today so you're my BEST FRIEND FOREVER"
Little Jomari: "Best friends already? But we just met."
Little Crystal: "*doing the baby doll eyes* you don't want to be my friend?"
Little Jomari: "Uh ok ok, I'll be your best friend so stop that and sit next to me because you have been in the bush sitting"
Little Crystal: "Yay! *sits next to Jomari smiling* let's go home together. I want to know where you live."
Little Jomari: "Ok but what's your name?"
Little Crystal: "I'm Crystal. And you, what's your name?"
Little Jomari: "I'm Jomari"
END OF FLASHBACK.
*Alam ringing*
Crystal: "Ahhhhh!!! I'm going to be late!!!!!"
I run towards the bathroom and take a shower quickly. After taking a shower I wear my uniform and go downstairs to eat breakfast. I take a toast that mom made me and my lunch.
Crystal: "Mom Bye, I'm going to be late. See ya"
Mom: "Bye, take care"
Running outside my house. I saw Jomari walking.
Crystal: "*shouting* Jomari!!! Let's go together!! WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!!!"
Jomari: "Stop shouting. I'm only 10 steps away from you and besides we have time so we're not going to be late"
I hold Jomari's hand and run faster.
Jomari: "Hey, slow down. We have time left to go to school. And you're going to trip if you run fast"
Crystal: "We're going to be late c'mon"
We reached the school until I suddenly trip on a rock. But then, Jomari catches me with his hands on my waist. Its like a slow motion mode. We stare at each other for a while but:
Jomari: "Like I said your going to trip"
Jomari: "Uhh, You're right we're going to be late so let's go"
What just happened?
Crystal's Mind: "Its was like nothing happened. Did he feel the wind suddenly change its direction? Or he is just ignoring it. Oh, what am I thinking. He is just my best friend."
Going to my sit, I stare at the window while the teacher is still not in the classroom. Thinking what should I do if I confess to him. Will he reject me? Will he ignore me forever?
Someone just interrupt my thoughts.
Ashley: "Crystal?"
Crystal: "Huh?"
Ashley: "You've been staring at the window with a blank mind. Tell me, what's going on?"
Crystal: "Oh, its nothing. I'm just thinking how will I confess to him this lunch break"
Ashley: "Someone said that there will be an activity today so maybe someday I guess"
Crystal: "What!!!!"
Everybody stares at me.
Ashley: "Shhhh! Keep it down."
Crystal: "But this day is special to me because this is the day I'm confident and and and----*
Ashley: "Crystal, calm down or I will call Jomari to comfort you*
Crystal: "*crying* Ashley help me. And don't call Jomari. I think he is busy."
Ashley: "But what about Christian?"
I blush when I heard that name. He is so handsome in the campus.
Crystal's Mind: "Every time I hear your name. My heart is beating fast and I'm blushing*"
Ashley: "Crystal!!!! Are you ok? You're always spaving out. Is it all because of Christian?"
Crystal: "Uh-huh"
Ashley: "*sighs* Girl, you need to control your emotions because someday I know that your bubbly side will disappear when you feel hurt. So I'm worried about you confessing to him."
Classmate 1: "EVERYBODY SIT TO YOUR SITS NOW. THE TEACHER IS COMING!!!!"
Ashley: "Bye Girl"
Crystal: "B-bye"
When the teacher arrives, Christian is at the door with the teacher.
Everybody: "Good Morning Ma'am"
Teacher: "Good morning class. Sit down and we will continue our lesson."
Crystal: "History again? Oh cmon"
Every time History class starts I feel sleepy that makes me get in trouble. But with Jomari, he always makes me do that and do this.
Teacher: "Get your textbooks and open to page 124. We will learn about blah blah blah and blah blah bla---"
Crystal: *snoozing*
Jomari: "Do you have to sleep at this class? *sighs*"
Suddenly, someone throws something in my head that wake me up.
Crystal: "Aww! What's this?"
I open the crampled paper and read it.
"DONT YOU DARE TO SLEEP AT THIS CLASS OR YOU WILL BE AT THE SCOLD AGAIN!!

I look at Jomari. He has a serious face that I never seen before. I got scared of him so I listen to the lesson even though I felt sleepy because I will be dead if he sees me sleeping again.
