From the synopsis, James doesn’t make it to Mai’s party, but she does receive a huge surprise. Also from the synopsis, Mai’s parents have secretly engaged her to James. When her parents announce her engagement, they don’t tell Mai who her future husband is. This is an interesting start for a romantic story. Mai’s attempts to get out of her arranged marriage and gain James’s heart will serve as the ******* in this story. The spacing between sentences and paragraphs is missing.
