Chapter 206: The broken hearted

"You!" Kara yelled and pointed at Jason.

Kane was standing on his toes as he waited patiently for the awful words to come and for the hate to flow. He waited like it was air, food and life mixed together. His anticipation grew and grew until he was about to explode.

"I am so sorry, Kara" Jason didn't even know he was crying until his daughter flew into his arms and he was comforting her.

For some reason it made Kane's rage grow and grow until he resulted in shooting a gun in the air to get their attention.

"No! This isn't right! You were supposed to hate him! He killed your mother and you are hugging him?"

Kara sniffed. "Hate? Why on earth would I hate my own father?!"

"He is not your father…I am, goddamn it!"

Kara moved closer to him. She wiped her face with her hand.
