They were both looking at Jason.

He hadn't said a word since the beginning.

McKenna's voice quivered as tears ran down her cheeks. It was difficult to watch and so, Jason turned away.

He needed to focus on his children. He didn't have time to play the dutiful and loving husband or maybe he did. It was an imbued instinct because he couldn't help but immediately reached for McKenna but she shrugged him off and stood up.

"Pay no attention to me. Focus your energy on our kids…oh God, we have to tell Naya" McKenna clasped her hand over her mouth.

She used the helm of her shirt to wipe her nose. She wasn't going to waste time crying. Naya was in her room and she was going to walk up to there and give her the worst news of her life without a tearful face or a sniff, she would be cold as a stone and when she was done, she hoped like hell that Jason would have a plan.
