Welcome to Shelena Carroll's House

In the afternoon, Reina had arrived at a house that was quite spacious in the middle of the city which was far from Reina's previous house. Reina felt that she had never been to that place before. Looking at Aunt Shelena Carroll's house, it looks classic and very calm, unlike other houses around the place. The large yard makes the classic house in the middle and not reachable from the outside.

"Welcome to my house. Your room is on the third floor. Mine is downstairs and on the second floor is your cousin's room."

"Cousin? Do I have a cousin? So Auntie is married?" Reina asked confused because she didn't know Shelena Carroll at all let alone her cousin.

"Yes, I'm married and divorced. My son is in high school and is in the final grade. You will go to the same school as my son, only you are different ages. Try to get along with my son and don't bother if my son doesn't like to communicate with you, understand?!" Shelena Carroll knows that her son doesn't really like communicating with people. Moreover, Reina Smith and Sebastian Carroll did not know at all since childhood.

"Understood, Auntie. I'm an adult and know enough about myself because I'm staying at Auntie's place. So I won't disturb anyone in this house, including your son. I will try my best to stay here and go to school with good achievements. While waiting to hear from Papa and Mama." Reina still believes that her parents are probably still alive because their bodies have not been found at all. Shelena Carroll didn't care about those words and asked the girl in front of her to immediately go up to the third floor room and arrange the place alone.

Shelena Carroll didn't feel sorry for Reina at all. What that woman did was solely for the sake of obeying the will and also getting the treasure from Reina's parents. Shelena never got along with Reina's parents. Didn't even know that Reina was an only child. Shelena Carroll had not communicated with Reina's parents in a long time. Shelena is currently in an economic crisis, so the will was right to carry out. Taking care of Reina won't be difficult since she's already a teenager.

Reina Smith opened the door to the room on the third floor and was surprised that the place was far from suitable for use as a bedroom. It is more worthy of being called a warehouse because it is dusty and disheveled. Reina took a deep breath and exhaled slowly trying to be more patient. The girl immediately cleaned the dusty room by opening the window first so that the air could be replaced with a new one.

Seen from a distance there is a man walking towards Shelena's house. "Is that my cousin that Aunt Shelena meant earlier?" Reina looked at the man and strangely as if the man knew, the man also looked back by raising his head to look at the third floor.

Reina continued to clean up the dusty and messy room. It was getting late and Reina had just finished tidying everything up and was able to lie down on an old mattress. Reina looked up at the ceiling of the room which was still full of cobwebs.

"God, are my parents okay? I still hope they are in a place with good conditions. I will wait for them well here. I will obey Aunt Shelena's words and go to school well and not trouble my cousin in school." Reina still hopes that her parents will come back again. The girl tries to live as best she can at her Aunt's house so as not to cause trouble.

Reina who felt tired after arranging the room actually fell asleep. The girl slept well into the night. When a voice called Reina's name, the girl opened her eyes and woke up shocked.

"Who are you?!" Reina immediately got out of bed because she was surprised to see the man in front of the open door of the room.

"My mom asked me to take you out to dinner. Come on down." The man named Sebastian is Reina's cousin. Sebastian immediately left Reina's room and headed back down to the dining room.

Reina rubbed her eyes and rushed down to the dining room. Reina didn't want to make her aunt wait for fear that Shelena would be angry. It was clear that Shelena was not friendly at all.

It was true, Shelena was waiting for Reina with an unhappy face. "The first rule in this house, breakfast and dinner hours are mandatory and don't be late. Pay attention to the front so as not to keep me waiting!"

Reina immediately sat on the chair and apologized first. "Yes, Auntie. Sorry if I fell asleep after cleaning the room." Shelena did not answer and immediately took rice and side dishes for dinner. Sebastian also did the same thing with his mother without caring for Reina who felt bad and apologized even though he didn't reply.

Reina's first day at Shelena Carroll's house was not so good. Reina tries to think positively to live the existing days with enthusiasm. Even though everything was confusing, Reina would stay there. It is impossible for Reina to live alone at home while her parents gave a will to Aunt Shelena about Reina's company and life. Reina just tried to obey what her parents told the lawyer and also Aunt Shelena.

Sebastian had only seen Reina Smith for the first time. The man felt something from the first time he looked at Reina. I don't know what that feeling was, Sebastian didn't know. It turned out that Reina felt the same way. But Reina tried not to think about that feeling because she was afraid of Aunt Shelena.

It was better to keep those strange feelings tight than Reina to get into trouble.It was clear that Aunt Shelena didn't like Reina's presence at home. Reina was also aware that her sudden presence would disturb the tranquility of her aunt and cousin.
