''Mom"

I woke up from my sleep calling my mom.

And realized that everything happened yesterday was not a dream.

I stood up from my bed and went in front of the mirror, I was looking....horrible!

my hair was looking like a bird's nest and my eyes were swollen and red.tears sticking to my face.I remember my mom's words.

"If you feel like crying will sooth your pain,

you can cry but remember...I don't like when you cry!''

my mom never liked when I cried.

I looked at the time and saw it was 10 in the morning! I slept too long...!

my class have probably started.I don't feel like I can to school.I picked my phone and saw that I have lots of missed calls.

Sophia had called me more than 10 times and Maya had called me 50 times!

she should be hell worried about me.

Sophia should have called her and told about mom.

I was going to call maya but suddenly my phone rang. It was maya.i picked her call only to hear,yelling at me.

"girl ! Are you alright ?why didn't you take my calls?!Do you how worried I was?!"

she sounded very angry and worried.

"I'm sorry...I...I just ."I couldn't say anything,my throat felt very dry and I took the jag from the table near my bed and poured some water into the glass to drink. I finished it in one go.

Maya went silent for moment and I heard her say, "crystal, I know how you are feeling now...

I'm sorry....i was not there when yo needed me.i called you many times but you didn't took my calls...and I was worried about you."

she paused for a sec and continued,"crystal, please be alright,ok?"she asked worryingly and a small smile made its way on my lips.I assured her with a 'yes'.

"Ok.Did you ate anything? ''she asked me.

In mention of food my stomach grumbled. I didn't ate anything last night. i can tell her the truth, if i did she's probably gonna get mad at me. so I lied, "yes...I did."

"lier...!" she sounded angry.she never lets me skip my food ,if I did she would scold me.

"I'm coming to your house."

"No...you should be at school right now and I don't want you to skip your class. "I tried to convince her.

"who said that I'm at school?"I can feel that she's smiling right now.

"you didn't go to school, did you?."I asked and her chuckle.

"Nope. I know you won't be able to come...so I didn't go."she said calmly.

"you shouldn't have missed your class!"I faked anger.

"Hey! what will I do there without you?"she said dramatically.

"well....you know ,maybe....study! I said sarcastically.

"I'm coming to your house.thats final!"

she didn't even heard me,did she?

I didn't want her to see me in this state. I was still in my school uniform. if she sees me ,she will be extra mad.

"No...!"

"Too late! I'm already waiting at your door,open it."

"what ?"Before I could ask anything she ended the call and I heard my doorbell. I went downstairs and opened the door.

maya looked at me and she looked...mad!

I forgot to wash my face!

"Girl! what have you done to yourself? "

"I just woke up now.!"I tried to defend.

"Go and fresh up. I will make breakfast for you."she ordered me.

I smiled at my caring best friend.
