1 Chapter 1:- First Presentation

Ashlie's Pov:-

The morning sunlight filled my room window making the room light up brightly. There was a knock on the door waking me up from my deep sleep. Lazily , I opened the door and there stood my head maid , Jung Aira with aglass of honey lemon water. I drank the water and gave the glass back to her. I was still feeling sleepy so I went to the bathroom to freshen up and take a bath. The bathroom was fully furnished and stocked up with all the nesssecities required in a bathroom. I filled the bathtub with luke warm water for me to soak after scrubing my body and washing my face with my favourite vanilla scented soap.

After my bath , I dried my body and went to the walk-in-closet where my clothes were neatly arranged in the cupboards starting from casual clothes , office clothes , party clothes , night clothes , branded jackets , branded watches , branded belts , etc. I decided to wear a floral-print knee length dress paired with pink strapped vegges , blue leather jacket , cream strap watch and sunglasses. I choose to wear jacket to keep me warm outside , despite the scroching sun. I wore my clothes and took my jacket in my hand. I then went to the vanity table to put onsome cream on my face and hands , comb my hair properly while setting it in a ponytail. I decided to put some light makeup on with a skin colour foundation , black eyeliner , mascara , light pink blush and light pink lipstick. Once , I was done getting ready , I sprayed vanilla-scented perfume , wore my musical pendant and musical earings , and went downstairs to the kitchen area , where Aira was waiting with the breakfast set on the white marble dining table. The breakfast included scrambled eggs , toast with butter , cereals , fruits , and hot coffee which are all my favourite foods . I ate a little bit of everything so as to keep a control of my diet . I finished my breakfast and took a look at the clock hanging near the kitchen wall and saw that it was almost eight o'clock which meant that it was time to go my father's company . My family's butler was ready with my car key and important documents which will be used for the meeting that I was attending today on behalf of my father . I took the car key and the documents from him and went outside the main door towards my Audi 9 . I opened the door with the car key and put the documents in the passanger seat , while I slide into the driving seat . I started to drive towards the company . I was staying in a mansion which was a thirty minutes drive from the office while my family's mansion was located in the richest locality called Myeongong Road , Seoul ; where all the billionnaire families reside . My family has gained a respectable reputation and status in every field of business like entertainment business , underworld business , politics , fashion designing . I am not only beautiful , but also a strong lady with brains . I mastered all martial arts techniques like kungfu , taekwondo , judo , karate , etc.; majored in Mba , fashion designing professional diploma , a hobby course of baking in top major unversities and learned some instruments like paino , violen , etc.

I reached the company after half an hour of driving from my mansion. I parked my car in the parking lot of the office , came out of the car with the documents and jacket in my hand and pressedthe auto lock with my car key. I went to the lift leading towards top floors , pressed the button to twentieth floor where my office was allocated to me. The company is located in one of the busiest commercial streets of Seon-Han district , Seoul. My assistant – Kim Nari – ranked in top ten graduate in MBA and Fashion Designing . She is just like a friend to me as we both studied in the same university. Nari was waiting for me to get the documents from me which I had taken home to complete the analysis fo the presentation which is going to take place in the conference room. I went inside my office room and put all the stuff I was carrying on a nearby desk.

I handed over the document to Nari and prepare for the presentation while i got everything ready on my laptop . Nari left with the document and I opened the presentation file saved on my laptop to review and analyse the presentation for any mistakes . While I was seeing the presentation , a knock came on my door showing my father's assistant , Sung Changmin , telling me that my father wanted to see me to discuss about something. I quickly closed the file and shut down the laptop. I got up from my seat and went with the assistant to the father's cabin. Changbin knocked on the door and entered the room. My father's cabin was decorated and furnished very traditionally. There was an antique flower vase placed near the window with fresh flowers.

''Good Morning , Father . I was just about to come to your office to discuss something about presentation , as there are some rectifications to be made about the land of the project and the purchase of the equipments or machines used in the production of the new products made for the new sale of the chidren's wear . I was suggesting to buy land in a secluded area where the area is not too crowded with buildings and there are less people around the land as the machines will make noise , and to buy machines which are cost effective and efficient on a long term basis .''I told my father about the problems which we might face and my suggestions on how to solve them .

My father thought about my suggestions and told me ,''Ashlie , I think it is a very good suggestion as there may be problems about the surrounding people in the area of the land where the factory will be constructed and your suggestions will help in avoiding these problems . I am very impressed with your suggestion . Please work on it more and finalise the presentation so that you can present it in front of all the board of directors present in the meeting .

My father also told me ,''Actually,I wanted to talk about another thing . Do you remember the Kim family who used to come during your childhood and their two sons who would play with you ? I invited them this evening , they are coming over to our house at dinner time and I want you to be available as there is an important discussion to be made between the two families .

I said ,''Yes , Father . I will come early to the house after finishing the meeting and completing all my tasks pending with the designing team , and I do remember their sons as we all became good friends during the childhood and are still in touch.''
