I felt the warmth of the sun, a cool breeze on my skin. Feather-light touches stroke my hand. I felt his presence beside me. Even while unconscious I could feel him. He was kissing my cheek now. I smiled.

I waited for him to say something else but he didn’t. why wasn’t he talking anymore? I opened my eyes, but the light stung, my vision blurred. After a few tries, the view became a little clear. White walls of my room came into my view. Someone had opened the window white curtains were fluttering along with the wind. Sunlight was warming the room and beside me was Aaron waiting for me.

‘’It’s weird, I swear I heard you in my head.’’

‘’Is it?’’ He asked back.

‘’Yes, I don’t usually talk with my thoughts.’’

He chuckled at my comment. ‘’Hmm, but I do.’’
