*Michael's home*

"Michael is that you?" my mother asked from the living room.

"Yes."

"Your father wants to meet you, he's up in his room" .

I got to his room and knocked .

"Come in." I walked over to him and he offered me a seat.

"You sent for me?"

"Yes. I want to discuss your marriage with Elizabeth"

"Father, I'm sorry to say this but I'm not going to marry her, she's not the one I choose".

"You do not have the right to say that, your marriage with her will be a blessing, she's from a very rich family too".

"Father, my mind has been made up, I will not marry her".

"Then, I'll make you marry her. You don't know what you are saying, now you can leave". He said with finality. I walked out of the room feeling my blood boil, I was enraged, I was being forced to marry someone other than Lucy.

''I have to tell Lucy no matter what. I can't live without her, but I don't know when and how I'll tell her. I felt confused'' , I thought to myself . Where should I go, to the right when nothing is right or to the left where nothing.

I started to wonder how I fell so deeply in love with her.
