4 Chapter 6.

* Lucy's point of view (POV)*

I got to work early , I sat down to sort things out on my desk continuously looking out for Michael, my CEO subconsciously. "I'm starting to go insane". I thought to myself.

I heard footsteps and when I turned there, he was looking all handsome and all that , I could feel myself staring but before I could stop he noticed and said,

"You like what you see?"

"You wish".

He gasped in a dramatic way, "I'm still your boss ,you know." He flashed a broad, naughty smile. I looked down unable to look up trying to hide my face and the smile on it but it didn't matter, he walked up to me and said,

"How was your night?"

"It was, ummm, fine, I guess".

"I know you dreamt about me". He said with a smirk .

"No, I didn't", I wanted to annoy him but he got a call from his father and he had to go. I felt sad to see him go, "Why am i sad?", "Am I finally going crazy?" "Or...or.....am I falling for him?" I gasped.

*Michael's point of view (POV)*

I couldn't wait to see Lucy , when I got there and saw her on her desk busy with work and with all seriousness, I wanted to make her smile, I loved seeing it. But then I got a call from father , I didn't want to leave Lucy but father made me promise him that I would come.

As I was leaving, I saw Lucy's sad face , I wanted to stay but I couldn't . I gave her a smile which she returned back to me and I dashed out of the office to meet father, Mr Theodore.

I had to go back home and when I got there, father had guests and mother was in the kitchen , I looked at him and he asked me to come over which I did. Then he spoke up,

"This is my son, Michael." I smiled at the people because it felt like the right thing to do. Then he resumed speaking, "And this is your wife-to-be, Elizabeth". I looked at him to try and find any sign that says 'he's joking' on his face but it couldn't be seen. I had to retain my questions till at the guests are gone. I didn't smile like usual, I excused myself for a minute . Then my mother, Mrs. Jane came up to me,

"What is it?",

"Did you know about this?",she didn't say anything .

"Mom, why ? I'm not going to marry Elizabeth and that's final".

"It's your father's decision".

"I can't marry her, I don't love her"

"You are still a young, you'll understand when you are older", with this she left . I couldn't believe what just happened but it looks like I'm in this alone.
