1 Chapter 3.

*2 months later*

I was panting all the way hoping that Mr. Michael, my boss isn't at work at the moment.

"I should have set the alarm" I said almost tripping on the stairs, I'm really clumsy , I thought to myself . There were eyes on me when I turned , but all I did was give them a weak smile then return to my mission which is to get to the office as soon as possible.

I got to the staircase which led to the perfectly decorated office, I looked through the glass paritipar wall and heaved a sigh of relief to see that his seat was facing the window , I thought to myself that he wasn't in the ofdoff at the moment, I congratulated myself for a job well done .

I opened the door, on my way to my desk which was near the door, halfway to it i heard a voice say,

"Stop". I froze then mustered courage and turned then I smiled

"Yes, sir?" He had this evil smile on his face and I wished I could wipe it off. I saw his eye examine me, then he spoke up.

"Is it proper for a boss to be at work before his secretary?"

"No sir." He stood up and walked up to me, leaned closely to my ear ,my heart was beating fasterf than usual , I thought he would hear it then he said,

"Go to my desk and pick up the schedule for today" . My boss is full of surprises outside he is the mean guy that everyone avoided but inside all i could see was a guy that loves to play around.

I walked up to his desk and I saw a paper it said that I should take a day off. I asked him why and then he gave me the most silly reason I ever heard,

"Because I want you to go out with me".

I was a little bit shocked and also happy but I needed to confirm what I heard, so I asked again ,"I didn't get what you said, can you please repeated it ?" . He smiled and said

"Go out with me" . I agreed but not sure the reason why.

"I'll come pick you up by 6 then" ,he said and I just nodded .

I did a few things back at the office before going home. When I arrived at home, I was all conscious of time , I was sure my sister noticed when she asked "What's up ?, You are all excited" I just smiled not sure of what to say , but I assured her that I'll tell her later .

By 5, I started to prepare and my sister walked up to me and said, "Are you going on a date?" , I could only smile and I told her "If that is what you want to call it" . I looked down too embarrassed to face her , she smiled then asked what I was gonna wear, I had nothing in mind again, she laughed and walked into my closet, she got a black cocktail gown which stopped at my knee and a pair of red heels and a red purse. Now I'm good to go.

By the time I was done it was 5:55 already so I waited patiently for him then hw arrived and knocked so I walked up to the door and opened it.
