"Fancy seeing you here, Alex," greeted the voice beside her at the bar. 

Alex turned to look who it was and was surprised to see someone she knew sitting beside her. 

"Leila? What are you doing here?" Alex asked as she stood up to give her a huge hug. Leila also stood to embrace her. "How are you?"

"Ohmigod! It's been a long time," Leila exclaimed as soon as they sat back down. "I never thought I'd see you here of all places. When did you come back?"

"Oh, no, we... My husband and I just came for the reunion but we will back to the city by tomorrow."

"Reunion? Oh yeah. Miguel did mention that to me."

"Is he staying with you?"

"No. He just called. He said he was meeting his girlfriend and you know my brother never stays home."

Alex smiled simply. There's truth in what Leila says. Miguel never liked to stay home with his family.
