Chapter 107 A Threat

"Is everything okay?" asked Alex as Robbie started picking up their things. "You look shaken up."

"I'm fine, Alex," Robbie stated, avoiding her eyes. "We should hurry. We have to give a statement to the police."

Robbie took the beach bag and started walking ahead of her while Alex was baffled by the way he was acting. Clearly, there was something that was bothering him. 

"Robbie..." she called. 

"Alex!" he rose his voice in irritation. "I already told you I'm fine. Now, let's go."

He walked briskly as she followed him, surprised by how he was behaving. 

"Are you mad at me?" she asked him. 

"Alex... can we not talk about this now? We have something very important to do right now and I don't have time to explain to you, okay?" he spat out.
