My Cat Is My Love Counselor

It's the end of the school…

A student named Takashi Kato is obsessively observing a girl named Minoru Inoue.

No, Nobody really is looking at him, nor is he being looking down by anyone.

"Damn, she is so cute…", he sighed.

"If I just could date her…", he thought.

He was in love with her.

Totally fallen apart.

He didn't talk much to her, but the slight that she talked to him, made him fall in love with her. Was this the effects of puberty and the lust in teenage boys taking place, or was it a true romance…

Either way, he was screwed, because he loved her and he didn't even was a close friend or friend of her, even though she his in the same class as him…

What a coward he is…

"I guess it won't make anything special by just looking at her… I guess it's time to go home and think about a plan for tomorrow.", he thought.

He thought that but, everytime he plans on planning something for tomorrow he ends up not doing anything at all…

He got back home.

"Mom, I'm back…", he said.

"Oh, welcome back. How was school today? Most importantly, did you went on a date?", she was curious, because he got back later.

"Damn, I can't say I was stalking a girl.", he thought.

"Well…", he said.

"Not «Well», don't turn into a NEET that doesn't have a girlfriend, have you heard if you don't have a girlfriend until the 30s you become a wizard!", she said, shouting at him.

"Mom, don't put things ahead of time…"

"I just care for you!", she settled down.

Takashi came back to his room, where his cat was lying in bed.

He looked into his cat and started talking to him about his love problems.

"Damn, she is too cute…"

"There is no way I can get to her."

"I can't even speak to her."

"It's impossible for her to be my girlfriend."

"Boy! Give me a break!", the cat started miraculously talking.

"Am I hearing things!", he said, terrified about the fact that the cat was talking.

"I mean, meow!", the cat tried to not show the voice.

"It's obvious now!", he said.

"You are a scaredy cat! Why you just don't act brave and get to meet her. When I found girls I like I end up doing with them! You dumb kid, how much time do you think I heard crying about your self proclaimed love life not going the way it's supposed to. Give me a break, I'm not even paid to hear you!", the cat said, getting worked up.

"First off all you are the cat, so don't call me scaredy cat! Secondly, you aren't supposed to do the stuff in the same day that you get to meet them, and thirdly, be loyal to your girlfriends!", Takashi was argumenting against his cat's speech.

"I don't want to hear your love lessons!"

Takashi thought rationally for a moment.

"My cat is talking…", he thought.

"No! That's not what I am supposed to be worrying about!", he thought.

"How should I get to know her…", he persisted thinking about it.

"A date!", he said, letting escape the thought he had in mind.

His mom entered in his room.

"It's dinner time.", she said.

His mom realized what he said.

"«date»? Who is she? Are you planning on marrying her?",she asked with enthusiasm about her child becoming a man, finally.

"Again, you're jumping ahead of time...Isn't that right, cat?", he said, looking at the cat.

"Meow.", the cat meowed like any cat did.

"Damn, you! That was close", the cat thought.

"Are you going crazy? Why are you talking to the cat!", the mom scolded him.

"Maybe I am going crazy…", Takashi thought.

"Well, watever, when you become her girlfriend let me know and come here with her.", she said, leaving the room.

The cat looks at him with look of danger.

"Kid, I'm going to conseoul you about your love if you don't talk to your mom that I can speak.", he said.

"Huwa!??? Who told I would want to hear your advices?"

"Think, are you in position in saying that?"

"Hmm, I guess not… But you're a cat…"

"I am a cat, but a educated cat, I have seen more doramas with your mom than you spent reading about love."

"Hmm, okay, I guess you have a degree in romance then. NOT! Doramas suck in romance."

"Do they?", the cat was surprised.

"Here.", the cat showed some reviews in a romance dorama in takashi's phone.

"Wow!"

"Okay, then.", Takashi accepted.

The cat was thinking…

"Kid, if you want to start somewhere… Here.", he said, showing him cliché introductions.

"Hmm, let me see.", he said, looking at the manga.

"So the students «accidentally» bumps into her and says «Oh sorry, I couldn't see you, you were too bright..», «Ah, Togashi-senpai!!». What is this bullshit", Takashi thought.

"Are you crazy! There's no way that is going to work!", Takashi said.

"Hmm not that, then, I guess more a normal way. She is intelligent, right?"

"Yes, she is always in top of the class…", Takashi said.

"Then, how about asking her to help you in a subject…"

"Well, tests are coming… And I am really bad at maths…"

"Perfect!"

"Invite her into your home…", the cat said.

"What!!!!!", Takashi said blushing.

"What you mean «What!!!», that's what I do when I want to romance with a girl, I invite her into my territory…"

"I know for a fact, that's not how science tells it works…"

"Shut up! Do whatever you want, then!"

Takashi felt happy.

He felt like he was ready to talk to her.

Was this proguess or was another naive procrastination he planned and never do?

"I am burning in excitement, I can't wait to get to school tomorrow!", he said.

"I hope you don't say that, and then be a scaredy cat!"

"As I told you, you are the cat!"

"And now I have the perfect plan…"
