My Caring Mate

Chapter 1

Only one week i said to myself until I can be free from this pack, I keep my head down slipping into the pack house to clean not wanting to wake the alpha or luna.

They blame me for there daughters death, I'm unsure why I was only a child when the rouges attack this pack years ago.

There daughter Hazel had a big heart and use to always make sure I was alright everyday, not only that she loved this pack more then her parents did but after that fateful day everyone blamed me for her death.

I managed to walk in the pack house through the back door and grabbed the mop bucket and mop out of the cupboard.

Every morning I try being quick and quiet but I groan when I hear foot steps up stairs 'this is all I need'  I thought to myself, I start mopping making sure to stay out of sight.

Alpha's beta walks down the stairs walking towards me, not like he was any better "look up at me you mutt"  he spits at me.

I look up still scared to meet his gaze, his big hand grabs my chin forcing me to look him in the eyes before speaking "make sure this place is spotless, the alpha has guess coming"  he growls through his teeth before releasing me.

Listening to his words I quickly cleaned everything before walking back to the kitchen only to be startle by the prick of an alpha him self Alpha Brax "don't come anywhere near the pack house this evening and I might give you food if you listen"  he growls, I nod.

I exit through the back door running out to a small shed at the back of the house, I only have a old thin blanket and some old  clothes I wear.

Heck they never cared about me, to them I was there daughters murderer, a slave to this awful pack.

But food would be nice I thought, they starve me for 4 days already and my tummy was rumbling and I was becoming weak, I never got my wolf either so my cuts and bruising never healed properly.

I did have one friend here she normally sneeks out to the river to meet me, I took off walking to the river to see if Laura was there and sure enough she was.

"hey Laura"  I call out waving, I keep walking towards her taking the grass patch next to her.

"hey Susie, I can't stay long there's a get together tonight" Laura tells me but I do not feel upset I understand she is the beta's daughter after all.

I nod "ok, I hope you have good time" I put on a best smile for her.
