I was sitting at the rooftop, waiting for him... He said he'd come, but he's never late. What happened to him today. Did he fall sick? Or did something bad happened to him?

No Ash don't think of anything stupid. He's ok... He's fine... He'll come... Just wait. Right then I heard the footsteps... He's here!

"I am sorry, I am late today" I heard the voice from other side of the old shabby cabin... "Its fine, but what happened? You are never late usually..." I said while sitting down on my side of the cabin.

If you didn't get it yet, let me tell you. Me and 'C' are best friends, but we never saw each other. Weird right?

But its just the way it is, and we like it like this only. None of us ever tried peeking to the other side, of course no one would, its the rule no. 1 of our friendship rules list.

I still remember the day we met... It was an accident... But a beautiful one I must say.

~~Flashback~~

I was very upset... So much that I even felt like dying. Why? Because of my school bully... 𝙆𝙧𝙞𝙨 𝙊𝙯𝙪𝙣... He insulted me in front of the whole school.

He called me a 'piece of trash' and emptied a whole dustbin over my head in front of the whole school, in the middle of playground... I hate him and I will never forgive him for that.

My pictures were all over the social media... Everyone started avoiding me just because of that cruel dumb brat. I don't want to go to school tomorrow.

But I have to. I can't run away from him forever. I sat on my study table and tried to study, but my frustration took the best of me.

I started crying. I felt suffocated in my own room. That terrible memory of the whole school laughing at me was never leaving my mind.

It felt like even the things in my room have started to mock me. I got up from the table and kicked the chair. I ran upto my closet and grabbed the most oversized hoodie in there.

I wore the hoodie and covered my face with a mask and ran outside. I just kept running until I was far away from my house.

I almost reached the outskirts of the city without even realising it. The area was dead silent. I saw a few men smoking at the corner of the street and to be honest, now I was badly terrified.

I saw an old empty building and climbed upto the rooftop quietly before anyone could notice me. The building looked so much worn out. No wonder why no one lived there.

As soon as I reached the rooftop I saw a small cabin there. I walked upto the other side of the cabin and stood there with my back against the wall.

I looked up at the sky and remembered how I am just a piece of entertainment for others. My eyes were teary, I slid down and sat with my head buried into my knees and sobbed loudly.

"Who's it? And what are you doing here?" I heard a male voice from the other side of the cabin. The voice sounded young. "Why can't I be here? You don't own this place, do you?" I shouted back.

"I don't... But its not good for a girl to be alone with a boy at night" he answered back. "You ain't even coming in front of me, what will you do to me dumbass" I replied.

"Umm...maybe yes, I won't do anything to you... Well you're kinda safe here... No one knows about this place...except me" he said in low voice.

"Lemme guess you're hear to run away from your problems too, no?" I asked. "Can say Yes... What about you?" he asked. "Same here, I got bullied at school today" I sighed.
