6 Chapter 6

Selina actually had a lot of work to catch up with, each country head of their other offices had sent in their reports. Selina had asked Yvette to cancel their weekly meetings since she wanted to focus on building the brand here.

"Selina, do you have a moment?" Lex asked as he knocked at the door.

"Yeah, what's up?" Selina asked as she handed Yvette some documents she had just finished signing. It was the end of a long day and she couldn't wait to get home.

"I prepared a list of people we need to approach so that we can get into the best places to set up SR Design branches." Lex said as he handed Selina the list. "It might have seemed like I was going to parties but I was figuring out who we need to approach."

"The Reyes Group." Selina said as she pointed at the list.

"The what?" Lex asked.

"Elisia Malls is owned by the Reyes Group, you get them, everyone comes to you." Selina explained.

"Okay, so how do we get to meet them?" Lex asked as he watched Selina pack her things.

"A family friend invited me to a party hosted by the CEO's wife, hopefully I get to talk to her and get a foot in the door." Selina said as she started to walk out of the door.

"Amazing! The boss is truly amazing!" Lex said with a laugh as he followed Selina out of her office.

"Such a suck up." Helios teased as he met his sister in the hallway, an assistant had followed him from the office and was now carrying a stack of documents. "Mrs. Sebastian just adores Selina. She's been trying to set her up with her son for years." Helios said with a laugh.

"Mrs. Sebastian? The president's wife?" Lex said with a gasp. "His son is like the hottest guy around!"

"You're drooling Lex." Selina said as she rolled her eyes at him. "He's a playboy, not really good for much."

"Not good for much? He's one of the top officials, he's one of the five princes, he is smart, hot, and powerful." Lex said as he looked at Selina with shock. "Helios, please, knock some sense into your sister." Lex said as he pointed at Selina.

"He's really not a bad guy." Helios said with a shrug.

"Please, he has a new woman every week. I don't want to be some political wife." Selina said as they rode the elevator.

"Selina was supposed to be engaged to him." Helios explained.

"And you said no?!" Lex was shocked that Selina had turned down one of the most eligible bachelors in the country.

"His sister gives good advice." Selina said as she recalled how Katerina had convinced her not to accept the proposal and not to fall for her own brother.

"Wait, will he be at the party?" Lex asked.

"Probably." Helios said with a shrug.

Lex suddenly pressed another button on the elevator and after a few seconds the elevator door opened and he pulled Selina out. Helios simply laughed and followed them out.

"What are you doing in my studio?" Mark asked as Lex rushed in.

"She needs something stunning." Lex said as he pushed Selina in front of Mark.

"She has a lot of stunning clothes." Mark said with a laugh. "What does she need this one for?"

"Seeing her almost fiance." Lex said with a grin.

"You almost had a fiance?" Mark said with a gasp.

"Arranged marriages are still a thing sometimes." Selina explained.

"I have the perfect outfit for you!" Mark said as he walked over to the backroom, it's where he stored the best designs by the best designers.

Mark quickly came marking back with a garment bag. "This, this will be perfect!" Mark said as he handed the bag over to Selina. "Open it when you get home."

"Who's the designer?" Selina asked as she looked at the unmarked bag.

"Me." Mark said with a grin. "Be my muse and wear it." He said with a wink.

"Thanks Mark." Selina said with a smile. "Enjoy your weekend." Selina waved as she left the room.

"Mom and Dad want to take us out for dinner." Helios said as he placed his phone in his pocket.

"Where?" Selina asked.

"Nouveau." Helios said as they walked back into the elevator.

Nouveau was one of the most exclusive restaurants in the city. It was located at R Tower, the tallest building in the country. R Tower not only housed Nouveau, but also the Reyes Group, the largest, richest, and most powerful conglomerate in the country. It was said that in order to get a reservation at Nouveau, you had to call at least a month in advance, and it was a two month wait for a window seat. Aside from the food, it was the view from the restaurant that the people looked forward to, you could see the whole city from above if you managed to book one of the tables near the window.

"They must have booked it when I said I was coming home." Selina said with a smile as they walked up to Helios' car.

"Probably." Helios said as they drove off.

R Tower was an hour away from SR Design's office, by the time they got to R Tower the employees were already leaving so Helios didn't have a hard time parking his car.

Selina had heard a lot about Nouveau from her family and was quite excited to dine there. When she had left 7 years ago Nouveau hadn't opened yet so she hadn't had the chance to dine there.

"Do you have a reservation?" The maitre d' asked as the twins walked through the entrance.

"Yes, for Mr. Ramirez?" Selina told him.

"We don't have a reservation for a Mr. Ramirez." The maitre d' said making Selina and Helios look at each other.

"Selina! Helios! You're here!" Jose Sebastian said as he arrived with his wife and daughter Katerina.
