4 Chapter 4

"Ughhhh, what did I do?" Selina asked her twin brother as she massaged her temples. She was battling the worst hangover of her life. "It can't get any worse than this hangover." Selina groaned. She had managed to get so drunk on her first day back in the country.

"Well it gets worse, a lot worse." Helios said as he bit his lower lip.

"What? Did I make out with Dave or something?" Selina asked as she drank the hangover medicine her brother had handed her.

"Worse." Helios said.

"Worse? What can be worse than that Helios?" Selina asked as she glared at her twin, the look on his face said it all, she was going to regret finding out what she did. "Tell me." Selina said as she placed her head in her hands, she was preparing herself for the worst news possible.

"Well you kind of hugged the Reyes Heir and accused him of being his assistant." Helios said slowly.

"Oh god." Selina wanted to cry, the Reyes Heir, he was possibly the most important person in the city, no, the country, and she managed to offend him after saving his assistant. "At least that's it, right?" She asked her brother.

"Well, no. You kind of offended Alexi Sebastian as well." Helios told her.

"What? Oh gosh, the most powerful business family and the most powerful political family and I managed to get them both mad in one night!" Selina cried out. How could he have messed up so badly after arriving. It seemed like her company, SR Designs, would never take off.

"Kids, I have great news!" Elisa Ramirez said as she entered the kitchen. "What happened to Selina? Why does she look like she just did the walk of shame?"

"The walk of shame would have been better mom, much better." Selina groaned as she shook her head.

"Well, I have something that will cheer you up!" Elissa Ramirez happily said. "A chance to make the best connections for SR Designs." Her mom said proudly.

"Hmmmm, what is it?" Selina said, raising her head. Anything that would benefit her business was a good thing. She needed to start building relationships with the right people soon.

"A little party being thrown by Priscilla Clarin, she's married to Emilio Reyes III the CEO of the Reyes Group. Your aunt Rebekah thought you would want to accompany her." Elissa Ramirez said with a hopeful smile.

"Oh no, not the Reyes Group again." Selina groaned as she placed her head back in her hands and cried out.

"What? I thought she would be happy about this." Elisa asked her son who was laughing.

"She will be, mom. Right now she is still regretting her actions last night." Helios said with a laugh.

"You are the worst twin! How dare you make fun of me!" Selina shouted.

"Oh grow up. You'll be happy once you get over your embarrassment." Helios said, rolling his eyes. "The Reyes Heir probably won't be there, he rarely shows up to events like these."

"Really?" Selina said sitting upright. If he wasn't there then she could avoid an embarrassing encounter.

"Yeah, he's super private. We only saw him last night because his brother-in-law owns the bar." Helios said with a shrug.

"When's the party mom?" Selina said as she wiped the tears off her eyes.

"Tomorrow night." Elissa told her daughter.

"Perfect." Selina said as she hopped off her chair and kissed her mom on the cheek. "I'll be out the whole day. I have work to do." Selina said as she dashed up to her room to get changed and head to work.

Before coming home Selina had sent several of her employees to the country ahead, her brother Helios had helped them rent a space and make some connections in order to establish the ground work. They had also begun hiring some employees while they waited for Selina to arrive to hire those for key positions.

"Do you need a ride?" Helios asked his sister as he saw her heading out.

"Don't you need to go to the office?" Selina asked him. For the past two years Helios had been helping their father run their family business. The employees adored Helios and were happiest when he was there, he was something of an office crush to the female employees.

"I do, but dad told me to accompany you this week. You might have a hard time adjusting back." Helios said with a grin as he took his sister's bag from her and walked out the door.

"Will you be coming with me to work too?" Selina groaned.

"I'll work at your office today, so hop in." Helios said as he opened the door of his car for his sister.

"You and dad are just too much." Selina said with a sigh as she climbed in.

Selina's office was a little bit outside of the city, Helios had chosen this location because it fit his sister's company quite well. Plus he had heard that Veronica, the international interior designer and architect, had an office here as well. He thought it would be nice for his sister to be with her kind of people.

"Are you excited?" Helios asked Selina as he drove up to the plain looking building.

"Of course I am!" Selina said happily as she got out of the car. "I'm finally home and I can bring my business here. This has always been my goal." Selina proudly said.

"If I remember correctly your dream has always been to be an actress." Helios teased.

"Dreams can change." Selina said with a shrug as she looked up at the building, she was proud to see her company logo at the entrance, SR Designs.

"Actress, model, fashion designer, and business woman, how many has it been now?" Helios asked with a laugh.

"Hey all my past dreams led me here." Selina said as she nudged an elbow at her brother.

"Let's go in." Selina said with a smile as she dragged him inside.
