3 Chapter 3

Later that day Selina was trying on a dress she had just brought over from Milan, a friend had designed it for her.

"Wow, are you sure dad will let you out in that?" Helios said with a laugh.

"That bad?" Selina grinned.

"I'm pretty sure you've never had a hard time picking up guys in your life. So why didn't you bring home some hot european guy to introduce to our parents?" Helios teased his twin.

Selina had always been quite attractive, she was a former model and actress so it was obvious that she looked good and she also knew how to dress to her advantage.

"I just haven't found the one." Selina said with a shrug. She was honestly looking for a man that could make her heart beat as fast as it did when she first met Alexi Sebastian. She knew Alexi was bad news, but something about him seemed to draw her in.

"Maybe you'll bump into Mr. Right tonight at the bar." Helios said with a wink.

"How about you Helios, have you ever brought a girl home?" Selina asked. She knew her brother had never introduced any of his girlfriends to their parents because her mom never mentioned it in their many calls over the years.

"None of them lasted, so I didn't bother." Helios said with a shrug as he fixed his hair in one of Selina's mirrors. "I date to marry, not for fun. If they don't see things the same way then why bother."

"The total opposite of my almost fiance." Selina said with a laugh. "So where are we going tonight?"

"Of course, only the best for my sister." Helios said with a grin. "I was deciding between Hideout and Hype Bar, Hideout has a lot of artists, but Hype is the newest and most popular bar in the Capital right now, so I decided to go with Hype Bar."

"Who's coming?" Selina asked as she applied the last touches to her make up. She didn't have that many friends in the country, most of her friends were just her brother's friend and growing up her best friend was the now estranged Jen Pelaez.

"A couple of my friends, I also invited several eligible bachelors you might like." Helios teased, despite being in another country their parents have never failed to mention some family friend's handsome son, or successful son, or some nephew of their friend who they thought Selina would like. Selina knew that her parents were just thinking about her. Her life abroad was quite lonely, although she had friends she didn't have family with her and she was incredibly close to her parents and twin brother.

When the siblings arrived at Hype Bar, Selina was surprised to see such a long line at the entrance. Helios was not lying when he said Hype was the most popular bar in the Capitol, all kinds of people were there, some clearly rich and some that seemed like they had just clocked out of work.

"Wow, are we really lining up there?"Selina asked her brother.

Helios simply laughed as he walked over to the entrance.

"Mr. Ramirez!" The bouncer greeted him. "You're late today. And who is this beauty next to you? New girlfriend?" The bouncer teased.

"Nah Marcus, this is my twin sister, Selina. She just came home from abroad today, we're celebrating." Helios proudly said. "What's with the longer than usual line and heightened security?"

"The boss and his friends are in, but the heightened security isn't his. It's the Reyes Heir's." Marcus the bouncer explained as he pointed out the men in dark suits that surrounded the perimeter.

Selina looked at them, they were all clearly elite forces from various countries, how powerful was theis Reyes Heir that he had such an elite force protecting him.

"What does the owner have to do with the long line?" Selina asked.

"Wherever the princes go, crowds are sure to follow." Helios said with a laugh as he led his sister inside.

"I still don't understand what you mean." Selina asked over the loud music as they entered the bar.

"The owner of this bar is Raymund Laurence, you know, one of the five princes, brother-in-law to the Reyes Heir, husband to Ayanna Reyes." Helios laughed as he realized his sister had been gone so long that she was no longer familiar with the latest social gossip.

"Helios!" A young man at the bar waved.

"Dave!" Helios said as he waved back.

"Wait, we saw you earlier!" Selina said in surprise, he was at the restaurant with the man Selina had saved from embarrassment.

"Haha, yeah. I'm keeping a low profile at work. I don't want them to know I'm some rich kid." Dave said, scratching his head.

"Dave and I were classmates at University, his family does business with ours, but he insisted to his dad that he wanted real world experience so he applied for work. That's how I knew that that group was important earlier, cause Dave was with them." Helios said with a shrug.

"That man you helped out earlier, his name is Cedric Reyes, and he is one of the Reyes Heir's personal assistants. From what I heard he's so good that the Reyes Heir decided to move him to the head office and now he works in the business development division." Dave explained.

"He isn't related to the Reyes Heir is he?" Selina asked as she noticed the similar last name.

"Nope. You know how common that surname is here in our country, especially in the Capital. I had five classmates in highschool and even more in University with that last name, none of them were related to the Reyes Family." Dave said with a shrug.

"Oh is everyone here?" Helios asked as he helped Dave carry the drinks over.

Since Selina had chosen to go to University abroad it was her first time meeting her brother's friends. They were a lively group, all sons and daughters of rich families who had chosen to work from the ground up like Helios.

When Helios graduated university he began as a clerk in their father's company, his reason being that he wanted to know everything about the company, and he wanted to prove to everyone that he deserved any role he took in the future. As a result all the employees in their family company loved Helios, everyone actually felt like he would be a deserving CEO someday when he eventually took over, the fact that they were adopted never even bothered any of the employees.

Since she was exhausted, Selina's tolerance to alcohol was much lower than normal, after several shots she was already swaying side to side and leaning against Dave.

"Let's dance!" Selina shouted as she pulled Dave to the dance floor. Dave simply laughed and accompanied her to dance. As more people joined in and the lights darkened Dave suddenly realized that he had lost Selina.

He quickly ran back and called for Helios.

"How could you lose my sister? She's a human being, you don't just lose a human being!" Helios shouted as they walked back to the dance floor.

When Helios finally reached the other end of the dance floor he saw a sight that shocked him. His twin sister, the ever prim and proper Selina Ramirez approached a man he could recognize anywhere, the Reyes Heir.

"Dance with me!" A clearly drunk Selina shouted as she began to grind her body on the disguised man.

The man remained stiff on the dance floor not responding to her. She suddenly turned and placed her arm around his neck and continued to maintain contact between their bodies.

"Sister! Sister!" Helios called out as he pulled her off the Reyes Heir. "I'm so sorry Mr. Reyes. My sister has been under a lot of pressure lately so she drank a lot and lost control of herself, I'm really sorry."

The Reyes Heir simply nodded and walked away.

"Hey Mr. Reyes Heir! You look so much like a punk I saved earlier! You should meet him, he might be your long lost twin!" The drunk Selina said as she walked closer to the masked man.

"Sis, stop, stop." Her brother said as he pulled her away.

"Mr. Reyes. I'm sorry." Helios apologized as he managed to drag Selina away.

Throughout the night Helios struggled to keep Selina at the table, he gripped her wrist tightly making sure she didn't slip away.

"Watch her for me." Helios told Dave as he left to go to the restroom.

Unfortunately drunk Selina was quite difficult to handle, and eventually she managed to escape Dave's grip.

She spotted a familiar man and suddenly jumped and hugged him.

The Reyes Heir's first reaction was to shove the woman who was caught by the notorious playboy Alexander Sebastian.

"Eeeewww. You're that playboy politician!" Selina said as she shoved herself out of Alexi's arms.

"Who is this?" Alexi asked as he stared at the Selina suspiciously. His gaze clearly held some familiarity in them.

The Reyes Heir suddenly recognized her and grabbed her by the arm.

"What is your brother's name?" He asked in cold and intimidating tone.

"Helios, his name is Helios. Such an odd name right. My mom and dad are such nerds!" Selina said as she laughed. She thought the man was funny for being so serious, in America and Europe it was normal for people to hug, Asians were just so stiff and uptight.

As if on cue Helios suddenly appeared. "Mr. Reyes, I'm sorry about my sister. She kept going on and on about how you are the same person as the guy she helped earlier. She's crazy. I told her you would never go to such a palace and if you did everyone would have known." Helios said as he tried to catch his breath.

"What guy?" Alexi asked from behind Selina.

"Ah, Congressman Sebastian. Errrr. My sister said she saved a man being bullied by a social climber at lunch today. She kept insisting that he and Mr. Reyes are the same person." Helios explained. "I swear sir, my sister is normally a level minded person. As a matter of fact she graduated at that top of her class in Madrid and went on to establish her own business. She just returned from New York this year and is moving her headquarters locally. She's just stressed."

"It's no worry." The Reyes Heir said in a calmer tone. "No harm done. She's just probably confused."

With that, he and his group left.

The drunk Selina couldn't help but notice a certain playboy politician looking back and eyeing her. She quickly turned her head pretending not to have seen him.
