4 Chapter 4 - No Thanks, I've Found A Job

The Qing Cheng International Group was extremely efficient. Only moments after Li Tian entered the office, both parties had reached an agreement and signed the contract.

His monthly salary was 6000 dollars, excluding additional year-end bonuses. Moreover, this large company definitely had amazing employee benefits with regard to his worker's insurance.

Li Tian's office was situated in the PR department, and although it wasn't the biggest in size, the department had many beautiful female employees.

Upon entering the department, Li Tian was almost blinded by the sight of over twenty beautiful women, all of which possessing their own unique charms.

As the name suggests, the PR department was responsible for the company's public relations. For instance, if a manager was required to attend business meetings and was worried about securing customers, this would be where the PR department would be required.

Having business talks over some drinks was the most typical situation, and apart from this, nothing else would be expected.

These girls, whose beauty were their biggest strengths apart from their smooth talking skills, were all paid over ten thousand dollars a month.

When Li Tian entered, the employees weren't too busy, and it seemed as though they had just been arranging their materials at their respective desks.

They seem to have wanted to dig out everything about their potential customers, including their personality, strengths, and hobbies, all of which would increase their chances of winning over these customers.

What was Li Tian's role? He was responsible for delivering coffee and tea to these girls, as well as maintaining the general cleanliness of the office.

"Not a bad suggestion... The company will take this suggestion. I never thought that your department would find such a talent during this recruitment fair. Remember to give him a bonus at the end of the year."

"Got it. Umm... President, would you like me to call him over and report to you directly?"

Lin Yi was indeed curious about such a talent. However, upon glancing at the watch on her wrist, she realised that it was time to leave.

"It's late today. Arrange a meeting for us tomorrow."

"Understood."

"Alright, who wants breakfast tomorrow?"

Li Tian asked loudly in the office, and soon, the employees gathered around.

As buying breakfast would give him roughly 300-400 dollars in tips, Li Tian thought to himself, This sure was easy money!

When Li Tian arrived home, Lin Yi was already in her usual position, sitting on the sofa whilst reading a magazine.

Li Tian wanted to greet her, but couldn't bring himself to say hi.

Wouldn't saying hi be causing problems for himself?

"Found a job?"

Li Tian didn't greet her, but instead, Lin Yi had been the one to start a conversation.

Undoubtedly, she was directing this question towards Li Tian.

"Who cares if I have or haven't?"

Upon sensing Lin Yi's sarcasm, Li Tian answered in a disparaging manner.

"What's most important when finding a job here is your educational background. If you don't have a diploma, it would be very difficult for you. Come with me to my company tomorrow, I'll arrange a job for you in the security department."

Lin Yi thought long and hard before making this decision.

Indeed, it was true that she didn't like Li Tian, but they were still married to each other. Their marriage was a mistake, but she didn't have the courage to end it.

She felt bad seeing Li Tian unemployed. He's perfectly fine and healthy, so why can't he be more serious in finding a job?

How can this laziness benefit his future?

She thought that if she arranged a job for Li Tian, she wouldn't have to bear with him asking her for money anymore.

"No thanks, I've found a job. I don't need your pity!"

Li Tian replied, before turning around and walking towards the stairs.
