17 Chapter 17 - The Black Dragon Armband

"Wang Ma, don't wait for him, just go rest."

Lin Yi walked downstairs in her pajamas.

It was already past ten at night, but Li Tian hadn't came home yet. While waiting for Li Tian to return, Wang Ma had already reheated his dinner several times.

It was Lin Yi's third time coming downstairs, she felt sorry for Wang Ma who was still up waiting.

"Don't worry, I'm old now so I don't sleep much anyways. I'll wait a little longer."

On the other hand, Li Tian was helping a drunk Chen Ya Jing walk. He couldn't drive as he didn't know where she lived.

Although it was during the summer, it was still chilly at night. Chen Ya Jing slowly regained after they had walked for a while.

"Huh? Why are you here?"

Chen Ya Jing asked, leaning onto Li Tian's shoulder.

As the smell of perfume on Chen Ya Jing diffused through the air, Li Tian couldn't help but feel distracted. However, he knew that even though Chen Ya Jing was carefree and always joked around with him, she'd never behaved inappropriately.

"They've all gone home. Everyone was worried because you drank so much, so I was summoned to take care of you."

Li Tian turned his head as he replied. Chen Ya Jing's eyes nearly popped out of her head when he turned around, because their lips almost touched.

Li Tian never acted pure and innocent in front of girls, as he had frequented adult entertainment areas overseas. After all, he needed a place to relieve his stress after living that kind of lifestyle.

He was used to seeing clusters of bodies, and his teammates dying one by one, with limbs blown apart and blood splattering everywhere.

There was no doubt that Chen Ya Jing was beautiful and sexy. However, Li Tian turned his face away to avoid the awkwardness.

Seeing how Li Tian was too embarrassed to make eye contact with her, Chen Ya Jing just laughed at the sight.

Li Tian really looked like a shy young boy.

"Xiao Tian, am I pretty?"

All of a sudden, Chen Ya Jing whispered in Li Tian's ear.

"Huhu..."

Li Tian almost couldn't take it anymore. He felt Chen Ya Jing's mounds touching him, and he almost felt pathetic.

"Pretty."

"Then why won't you look at me?"

"Uhh... Ya Jing, where do you live, I'll send you home."

"Haha, I live here, don't you know?"

Chen Ya Jing replied while pointing at the apartment building next to her.

Uh, right beside the office?

Li Tian didn't know where she lived so he subconsciously walked towards the office. He didn't know that she actually lived there.

A few minutes later, Chen Ya Jing opened the door to her house. It was a spacious apartment complex with two bedrooms and a hall, on top of a large balcony.

This type of house would easily cost more than $2 million in Jiangdu, whilst it would cost more than $5000 per month to rent.

Li Tian felt awkward as soon as he looked inside.

It wasn't just Chen Ya Jing who was living there, but there were traces of another man.

Li Tian quickly understood that Chen Ya Jing was already 28 years old, so she must be married and living with her husband.

"Sister Ya Jing, my duty is done here. I'll be off."

Li Tian just stood outside the door. He didn't even think about entering her house.

Chen Ya Jing was taking her shoes off when she suddenly heard him say that. She immediately asked, "What? You don't want to come in? At least have some water before you go."

"It's okay. There's someone else living with you, and I don't want to cause any unnecessary misunderstandings."

Someone else? Chen Ya Jing looked inside and saw the cigarette butts on the table in the living hall, and a pair of men's slippers on the side.

Chen Ya Jing came to Li Tian's side, took him by the arm and walked straight into her house.

"There's no one else, I'm living here alone."

As she spoke, Chen Ya Jing's eyes seemed somewhat lonely.

Li Tian didn't refuse, and Chen Ya Jing sat him down onto the sofa.

"Some beer for you?"

Chen Ya Jing brought two cans of beer and placed one in front of Li Tian. As for herself, she swiftly opened the can and chugged down the beer.

"Sister Ya Jing, don't drink too much. I can tell that you haven't been in a good mood today. If you don't mind, I can listen to your worries."

Li Tian snatched over the can of beer in Chen Ya Jing's hand. At this moment, he realised that Chen Ya Jing's eyes were filled with tears.

Before he even knew it, Li Tian suddenly felt her in his arms. He then heard Chen Ya Jing's soft voice.

"Kiss me..."

Li Tian ultimately couldn't resist it. After Chen Ya Jing's bold initiative, the two of them engaged in activities with each other in the living room.

The 28 year-old Chen Ya Jing was at the peak of her beauty. Ever since Li Tian came back from overseas ten days ago, it was his first night with a woman.

Chen Ya Jing snuggled into Li Tian's body and slept soundly.

Li Tian lit a cigarette. He wasn't guilty, but he was thinking about how he should explain this to Lin Yi after going home.

However, he came to a decision very quickly. Did he owe her an explanation? They weren't in any romantic relationship, and who knew what would happen in future.

Li Tian noticed something in the corner of the sofa.

When he reached out and held it, the calm expression on his face abruptly turned cold. Chen Ya Jing who was laying in his arms seemed to notice that, too, and slightly curled up.

It was a piece of cloth, a black cloth.

There was a dragon embroidered on it. If Li Tian hadn't seen it before, he wouldn't know that it was a dragon as the art was too abstract.

Black Dragon Armband!

It was an armband, one that was usually used in the military.

Li Tian had seen the Black Dragon Armband more than once, he even knew that the Black Dragon was a low rank member of some organization. There were others such as the Silver Dragon Armband and Gold Dragon Armband.

"Why is this here? Don't tell me..."

Li Tian looked at Chen Ya Jing who was sleeping soundly, and shook his head. This, couldn't possibly belonged to her. Then...

Sudddenly, Li Tian heard footsteps coming from outside the door. The footsteps were so light that normal people wouldn't even notice.
