17 Chapter 17: Ugly Duckling Cinderella

The next day, most of the students went onto the school's bulletin board. They heard the news about the upcoming events for the entire week.

"Search for the Ms. and Mr. Milanosa..., booths and other extracurricular activities." One of the students murmured.

She abruptly jumped high of happiness as she has the chance to confess to her longtime crush.

But she stopped when the group of Sandra came into the way. All of the students quickly moved away from the bulletin board.

"Are you joining this year?" Lou asked her, crossed her arms, and sipped the cup of tea in her hand. "Last time was a failure." She emphasized that provoked Sandra again.

"Shut up, you spoiled brat!" Sandra told her. She then raised her eyebrows and walked closer to the board.

She breathed deeply and said, "Sunny, can you read it for me! I don't know how to read some of the words!"

Garry and Lou giggled silently. They knew why Sandra failed to grasp the crown as she failed in the Question and Answer portion. She is a slow learner who needed a mentor.

"Why are you laughing?" Sandra grabbed the tea from Lou's grip. She took the tissue from her bag and wiped the straw. "Hmm, this year is gonna be my lucky year. Watch me shine girls as I will win the crown!"

Sunny rubbed her arms as she read the entire event. "If you want to win, why don't you learn some basic Q and A, right girls?"

"Sunny is right! If you want I will tell my cousin to help you." Garry insisted.

"No! I have a plan and this time, I know who can help me to stand out in the competition."

Lou pouted when Sandra sipped everything. She craved for it yet, someone else consumed it. "Here, throw it into the trashcan."

"Don't look at me that way, I will pay you!" Sandra opened her bag and quickly searched for her wallet. She took 100 dollars and put it inside of Lou's pocket.

Garry chuckled but Sunny tapped Lou's shoulder. "Don't mind her, she's a crazy daughter of the school's principal."

Sandra walked too fast as she reached the school's hallway. She turned around, "What are you doing? Hurry up, girls!" She exclaimed and rolled her eyes at them.

The students were excited about the event. But along the way to their room, the former Ms. Milanosa accidentally bumped Sandra.

She raised her eyebrows and exclaimed, "Ohh, it's you, Sandra! I didn't you earlier,"

"Back off, Zenith! I knew you did it intentionally!" She crossed her arms and looked at the girl's eyes sharply. "Perhaps you are unaware that I knew what you did a year ago during the competition!"

Zenith widened her eyes. She expected it but she won't let her destroyed her image. "Spread it and your true color will be disclosed in public! Don't you dare underestimate me because as far as I know, your mother is a whore!"

Sandra gritted her teeth and pulled her hair. She slapped her as has the chance, scratched Zenith's back, and leave a mark.

"Let go of me, Sandra! Ah!"

"Stop talking nonsense about my mother or I will rip your mouth, bitch!"

Sandra cursed and pushed her angrily. Zenith caught off guard, stumbled but she managed to stand firm.

She looked at Sandra seriously until she burst into laughter, "Don't be too innocent, we both know what you did to Halora Chui. Do you still remember it?"

Memories flashed back to her mind. A girl who was alone in the school's garden with a book on her lap. Until a group of girls walked into her spot and spilled the mixture of vinegar and chili powder.

The pitiful young girl was surprised and cried all by herself. She felt she was dead as the chili powder almost irritate her eyes and triggered her allergy.

Sandra was taken aback by the memory she reminisced. She gulped and looked away from Zenith's sarcastic gaze.

"Laugh loud now, cry later. Remember this day, Zenith! We are not still done and I am warning you, step out my way or your body will be found on the river!"

"Blah blah blah say everything you want, I don't care!" Zenith flipped her hair and banged her shoulders again. "Bye bye, my old, good friend!"

Sandra noticed a few of the students who gathered from a distance. They loved fighting scenes and after it, they quickly scattered throughout the campus like wine that spilled into the floor.

She looked at the girls behind her and said, "Hurry up, we need to notify the event organizer that I will join again this year,"

"Y–yes, Sandra! Gi–give me your back," Garry quickly ran and took the bag out of their leader's arm.

She was too annoyed by Zenith's presence and the only thing to calm her down was a cup of cappuccino.

Lou and Garry followed her silently while Sunny bought something for her Master. "I'm still hungry! Why don't we go back to the cafe–"

"What is it aga–"

Both of them shut their mouth and looked quietly to Halora who walked with the campus bad boy. She looked happy with him as she covered her face with the books in her hands.

Until Sandra realized that she was alone. She said, "Why did you suddenly stop–"

Once again, her heart shattered into pieces. She secretly knew and adored him for almost four years yet, he never laughed with her. Sebastian ignored and disregarded Sandra since before he met Halora.

"Let's go, San! You don't have to attack her every time she's with Seb! You have to cool down or your mother will transfer you to the US!"

"I want to pull her hair until she beg for mercy!" Sandra scowled but her friends stopped her.

She has no other choice but to listen. To get even with Halora Sandra came up with a plan.

Abruptly, she giggled and touched her stomach. "I came back to my senses and I have a better plan to get even with that ugly duckling Cinderella..., Halora Chui!"

Sandra smirked at them and stared intently at the poor girl with the famous bad boy.

What is her grand plan? Will she succeed or would be failed..., again?
