Only limited guests were invited for Chu Yan and Wu Li Shu's engagement and it was to take place at the Chu family house. Since Mr. Chu was the president of the country, the security was very tight and Wang Yu was able to worry less about his wife's and his safety.

Wu Li Shu was in the room getting ready and when Li Zi Yun entered the room, Wu Li Shu sent everyone else out to give them some privacy.

Li Zi Yun sighed, "This is your worst plan"

Wu Li Shu eyes widened as she looked at Li Zi Yun, "What?"

Before entering the room, Li Zi Yun had heard her mother in law talking to Mrs. Wu again about Wu Qing and Wang Yiran. It looked like nothing had changed because of this little stunt and she was sure that Wu Li Shu was also aware of it.

Li Zi Yun started talking, "Tell me the truth. Did you plan this because you wanted to help brother Wu or…"

Li Zi Yun looked at Wu Li Shu but she did not answer, so she continued, "Or did you do this because you wanted to marry Chu Yan?"

Wu Li Shu turned away from Li Zi Yun's prying eyes and feigned innocence, "I don't know what you're talking about"

But Li Zi Yun knew about Wu Li Shu very well, she almost screamed, "I knew it"

The only reply Li Zi Yun got was a smile, she continued, urging her friend to spill the truth, "You don't have to pretend in front of me. Chu Yan maybe an idiot but I know better. Come on spill it"

"Fine"

"How long have you liked him?"

"For a very long time"

"Then why didn't you say anything for so long?"

"Because that idiot loved you!"

"What?"

Certainly this was not what Li Zi Yun was expecting. Chu Yan had confessed this to her one day when he was drunk. This happened when they were still in college and Li Zi Yun thought that Chu Yan was no longer in love with her now. She had no idea how Wu Li Shu came to know of this because only she knew the truth and she had never breathed a word to Wu Li Shu.

Li Zi Yun got up suddenly from the couch. The next moment she felt dizzy and would have fallen down if not for Wu Li Shu supporting her.

Wu Li Shu was getting worried, "What's wrong?"

"I'll call brother Wang now"

Li Zi Yun stopped her, "Don't"

This was something, which happened usually, and after resting for some time, she would feel better.

Li Zi Yun and Wu Li Shu did not notice Zhao Ming Mei entering the room with her mother and aunt. Both elder Mrs. Zhao and Younger Mrs. Zhao rushed to Li Zi Yun's side while Zhao Ming Mei scoffed in disbelief. Li Zi Yun looked pale and Wu Li Shu was trying hard to hold her in position.

Zhao Ming Mei murmured under her breath, 'she is just pregnant. It is not like she has terminal illness and she is going to die tomorrow'

"Let her lie down for some time"

Elder Mrs. Zhao helped Wu Li Shu to lie down on her side while Wu Li Shu made a call to Wang Yu. She was sure that Wang Yu would chew her to pieces if she did not inform him. Zhao Ming Mei's mother was sitting next to Li Zi Yun and gently stroking her hair and Zhao Ming Mei really wanted to kill Li Zi Yun at that moment. Why was everyone treating Li Zi Yun like a queen when she was just an outsider who became Wang Yu's wife by climbing on his bed?

Within a couple of minutes, Wang Yu came rushing to the room.

"What's wrong? What happened?"

Wang Yu was kneeling beside the couch looking at Li Zi Yun.

Wang Yu said, "I asked you what happened?" thought he spoke to Wu Li Shu his eyes never left Li Zi Yun for a second.

Li Zi Yun whispered with her eyes closed, "Why are you shouting? Stay quiet for some time, I'm just tired."

"Come let's go home"

Wang Yu got up and bent down to pick her up but Mrs. Zhao stopped him.

"Let her rest for some time. You don't want to move her quickly"

Wang Yu nodded his head and without saying a word, he sat on the couch and laid Li Zi Yun's head on his lap. Li Zi Yun's lips automatically curved into a smile. She was feeling nauseous and tired, but Wang Yu taking care of her anywhere and anytime not bothered about the surroundings was what Li Zi Yun liked the most about him.

"Tell me if you want to go home. We can leave immediately"

Everyone was looking at Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun. No one felt irritated or jealous by what was happening, they were just happy for the couple.

Zhao Ming Mei could not watch this. Wang Yu was never the caring type as far as she had known him but now… Wang Yu did not have eyes for anyone except his wife Li Zi Yun, he was not bothered about what others would think of him, and she hated him for that. Zhao Ming Mei had always seen Wang Yu as someone who wanted to keep up his image in front of others.

However, all this changed after he had seen Li Zi Yun. Zhao Ming Mei had been planning to marry him as she thought she was the only one who was equal to him in status and wealth. She should have been in the place of Li Zi Yun now. Wang Yu should be looking at her like this with those eyes. How could everything go wrong in her life?
