Grandfather Wang immediately agreed to Wang Yiran's wish. When Mrs. Wang spoke to him about what Wang Yiran wanted, he did not hesitate to say yes. He was friends with Wu Qing's grandfather and Grandfather Wang was even thinking about holding the wedding in a months' time as soon as the Wu family said yes.

Wu Qing's grandfather was surprised when suddenly Grandfather Wang brought up the wedding topic. No one knew where Wang Yiran was all these years and he was not ready to let his grandson marry Wang Yiran without knowing all the details. Just the day before, the Zhao family had asked him if the Wu family would be willing to let Wu Qing and Zhao Ming Mei get married. Now the Wang family was asking him. Both the Wang family and Zhao family were the most influential in the country, and Wu Qing's grandfather was not sure why both of them were suddenly interested in his grandson Wu Qing now.

Wu Qing's grandfather did not want to decide anything in a hurry and he wanted to take time before coming to a conclusion since it concerned his grandson's life.

The Zhao family had been pestering Zhao Ming Mei to get married for a long time but she had never agreed. Zhao Ming Mei had finally agreed since Wang Yu was married now and his wife Li Zi Yun was pregnant now. Wang Yu's relationship with his wife Li Zi Yun seemed strong and she was sure that none of the tricks would work with Wang Yu and she did not want to get on his wrong side. Getting on Wang Yu's wrong side will certainly bring trouble for her and she thought it was time to get married now. The guy the Zhao family chose was Wu Qing. They had initially thought of Chu Yan; but since the Wang family wanted Chu Yan to marry Wang Yiran, they wanted Wu Qing for Zhao Ming Mei. So they immediately spoke to Wu Qing's parents and grandparents regarding this. Wu Qing's grandfather was quite delighted and he had said that he would very much be willing to discuss it the weekend.

When Grandfather Wang spoke to Wu Qing's grandfather, he did not get a straight answer. The only reply that he got was let us discuss later. Grandfather Wang had been sure that Wu Qing's grandfather would say yes immediately so he was a bit taken aback. But he was hoping for a positive response soon.

Wu Qing's grandfather called everyone in the family to discuss about this. The two most influential families were trying to become in laws with them and he was confused about what to do. Though Wu Qing's grandfather had been friends with Grandfather Wang for a long time, the Zhao family asked him first and he had sort of agreed and so he was in total dilemma. Agreeing to one meant enmity with another. However, before that he wanted to know what Wu Qing had in his mind.

Wu Qing's Grandfather said to everyone, "both the Wang family and Zhao family are interested in becoming our in laws. I haven't given them an answer yet"

He looked at Wu Qing and asked him, "Who do you want to marry? Wang Yiran or Zhao Ming Mei?"

Wu Qing was too shocked to say a word "Huh?"

It took some time for Wu Qing to process what is happening around him. When were Wang Yiran and Zhao Ming Mei interested in him? The entire Wu family was looking at Wu Qing now.

Wu Qing did not like both Wang Yiran and Zhao Ming Mei. One was an arrogant bitch and another was a psychopath. Wang Yiran was a stupid girl who was good for nothing other than throwing tantrums but Zhao Ming Mei on the other hand was a cunning one. No one could truly find out what was in her mind if Zhao Ming Mei did not want anyone to know. Zhao Ming Mei always got everything evil done without getting her name involved. She always kept her slate clean. In that aspect, she was more dangerous than Wang Yiran was. Wu Qing was not ready to marry either one of them.

Wu Li Shu spoke first, "Grandpa I guess you do hate my brother? Or is he adopted"

Her mother tried to silence her, "Wu Li Shu…"

But Wu Li Shu anyway said what was on her mind, "No one in their right mind would let their son marry Wang Yiran or Zhao Ming Mei. Mother you know about both of them. They are the worst"

Wu Li Shu's grandfather was ready to take no for an answer, he wanted Wu Qing to choose either one of them, "Everyone changes after marriage. You shouldn't always think only the worst about them"

Wu Li Shu pointed at her cousin Wu Yi Yang who was the son of her of uncle and said, "Grandpa why don't you let Wu Yi Yang marry either one of them?"

Her grandfather was staring at her now.

Wu Li Shu silently whispered under her breath, "Wahhh… I am sure brother was adopted"

Wu Qing really could not understand the situation. Though his family had no idea about what happened to Wang Yiran he knew that she was in coma. When Wang Yiran was in high school before coma she had never even glanced at him once and he did not know why suddenly Wang Yiran and Zhao Ming Mei were both interested in him.
