203 Chapter 203

Li Zi Yun was lying on her bed quietly. Wang Yu was the only one in her mind. She had completely lost her appetite and even swallowing a drop of water was difficult for her now. Li Zi Yun did not expect the situation to be so worse. At the corner of her mind she knew that Wang Yu would come back safely to her, but she couldn't stop worrying. Majority of her thoughts were filled with all horrible things that could have happened to Wang Yu and she was not wrong to think that.

Li Zi Yun did not leave the room the entire day. Mrs. Wang sent food to her room but everything went back untouched. Li Zi Yun tried cleaning, arranging or anything to distract her and take her mind of Wang Yu but it was completely useless. Everything reminded her that Wang Yu was missing now and she could do absolutely nothing about it. Li Zi Yun gave up and lay on the bed waiting for some news, any news about Wang Yu. If she had come out of the room, by the expression on everyone's face, Li Zi Yun could have found out what had happened to Wang Yu.

At last, when it was almost night, Grandfather Wang got a call from Zhou Nan Xi, saying that they have found Wang Yu. In the dense forest Wang Yu had been found unconscious and they were bringing him to the hospital in a helicopter. Liu Guang hadn't said the entire truth about Wang Yu's condition. Everybody in the Wang family, except Li Zi Yun knew that Wang Yu was hurt, so when they got the news, Mrs. Wang knocked on Li Zi Yun's door.

"Get ready. We are going to hospital now"

Li Zi Yun's face was drained of blood when she heard the word hospital. As far as she knew, everyone else in the family was healthy now, so that means Wang Yu….

"What happened Mother?"

"Get ready we have to leave now…"

Mrs. Wang's face was clearly stating that something was seriously wrong. It did not take a minute for Li Zi Yun to get ready. The car started as soon as they got in. The car was travelling in jet speed gliding past the vehicles on the road. Usually Li Zi Yun would have had a panic attack or fainted if the car was speeding, but everything was a blur to Li Zi Yun now that she did not even notice the car speed. Li Zi Yun looked at her mother in law and saw that her face was pale as a chalk. She felt scared to ask the question that was bothering her.

'What happened to Wang Yu ? Is he injured or…'

Li Zi Yun felt like if she said it out loud, then everything would feel more real. She was praying to God and holding onto her last string of hope before she came to know the truth. Li Zi Yun had found her happiness and at last and she did not want to lose him so soon. They had barely started their marriage level and it looked like it was about to end. Li Zi Yun blinked back the tears that had formed on her eyes, trying to control the emotions that were overtaking her. Li Zi Yun tried to convince herself one last time, Wang Yu was safe and there was nothing seriously wrong with him.

The car in which Li Zi Yun travelled was the first to reach the hospital. Zhou Nan Xi was waiting for them outside and they were immediately taken to the observation deck to see Wang Yu in surgery. Outside the room, Assistant Liu Guang and Zhou Nan Xi were discussing seriously. Both of them looked tired. They had barely slept these two days and they were relieved only after rescuing Wang Yu. Wang Yu had gained consciousness once in the helicopter and the only world that came out of his mouth were, "Zi Yun". His voice was almost a whisper before he lost consciousness once again.

When Li Zi Yun and Mrs. Wang entered, the hospital director was standing there watching the surgery keenly. The chief doctor's voice who was conducting the surgery could be heard in the speaker.

Wang Yu was lying on the surgical table with a ventilator helping him to breathe. The doctor was speaking about Wang Yu's body condition and it could be heard loudly in the speaker. There were two bullets inside his body and he had severe blood loss.

Li Zi Yun was unaware of all this. She went closer to the glass separation, trying to get a closer look. Wang Yu was lying there unconscious and with the ventilator in his mouth, Li Zi Yun just couldn't take it. She had always seen Wang Yu being in control of every situation, and seeing him lying there unconscious was too much for her. Wang Yu was being operated and Li Zi Yun was watching it from above. She hadn't eaten anything for a day and she had been staying awake for more than 40 hours. Li Zi Yun was standing for a second, then fatigue took over her and she fainted. Mrs. Wang stood there shocked. They did not tell Li Zi Yun earlier because they did not want to worry her, but absorbing everything at the moment was too much for Li Zi Yun.

Li Zi Yun was immediately admitted in another room while Wang Yu's surgery continued. Wang Yu had sustained several injuries in the accident but nothing too serious. He did not break any bones in the body but being in the wild had caused some infection in his body which required immediate attention.

Li Zi Yun woke up the next day morning. It took some time for her to recall why she was in the hospital. The next second Li Zi Yun got up from her bed. A nurse was waiting on her 24*7 and seeing Li Zi Yun wake up, she immediately called the doctor. Li Zi Yun was getting impatient now. She wanted to ask the doctor about Wang Yu but since he was not in charge of Wang Yu he had nothing to tell her. Li Zi Yun went in her hospital robe to Wang Yu's room, where Wang Yu was lying in bed, still unconscious. He was no longer breathing with the help of ventilator but an oxygen mask was attached.

Assistant Liu Guang was sitting there half asleep when Li Zi Yun entered the room. He jerked awake hearing some movement in the room.

"Tell me everything that the doctor said"

Assistant Liu Guang filled her up on everything the doctor said.

"Young madam you can rest now. I will look after Boss…"

"Secretary Guang thank you so much for everything. I will take care of him now. Go home and sleep for some time"

"Young Madam… No… I will stay until Boss wakes up… I also can't leave you unprotected… Boss will kill me when he wakes up…"

"I won't let anything happen to him. I'm sure there are other bodyguards around. He wouldn't mind you taking rest for some time. You can leave now…"

Assistant Liu Guang left the room reluctantly.

Li Zi Yun sat beside Wang Yu and started stroking his face. Li Zi Yun ran a finger over his unshaved face. His stubble made him more handsome than ever. The glass shards had caused several tears on Wang Yu's hand which was bandaged. She laid her head quietly on the pillow, waiting for him to wake up.
