Chapter 198

Li Zi Yun spent the entire day with her mother in law, looking after the wedding preparation. Thank god, she had her mother in law who took upon the burden to do everything. Li Zi Yun really would have collapsed if she had to take care of so many things all by herself. Mrs. Wang wanted every single small detail to be perfect, so she was checking every single in detail. The wedding invitation had already been sent out to all the people whom they wanted to be present for the big event.

Li Zi Yun got some time for herself only at night. Until then, she had been with her mother in law Mrs. Wang, looking after wedding preparation. The entire day since Li Zi Yun was involved in the wedding preparation, even if she forgot about Wang Yu for a second, there was something that reminded her of Wang Yu. She just could not stop thinking about Wang Yu.

Li Zi Yun checked her phone and saw that Wang Yu has not returned any of her calls or texts. She did not want to be seen as a clingy wife, but still she could not understand why Wang Yu would do this. Why couldn't he send a single text at least that he would call her later? Was Wang Yu cheating on her? No he would not do that to her. Or maybe did he have this plan to get a revenge on her? No then, he would not have told his family then that they were married.

Li Zi Yun waited and waited until it was almost night. She could no longer wait for him to call her back. Almost a day has passed since Wang Yu had contacted her. She made her mind, if Wang Yu did not speak to her within that day; she was going to the office the next day.

Li Zi Yun called Assistant Liu Guang once again she needed answers. She really could not understand why Wang Yu was avoiding her. Did she do something wrong in bed that night or the next day morning? Wang Yu had not said anything like that and she just could not find a reason as to why he would completely ignore her. This was new to Li Zi Yun.

Assistant Liu Guang picked up the call a bit late, "Young ma'am…"

Li Zi Yun asked him, "Where is Wang Yu? Why hasn't he returned any of my calls?"

"Boss is in an important meeting at this moment…"

Li Zi Yun just could not believe this. She had been his secretary for some time, and Wang Yu had never been in meeting for an entire day.

Li Zi Yun was getting annoyed, "How long will he be in the meeting?"

Assistant Liu Guang asked innocently, "Is something wrong Young ma'am?"

"Then tell me where your boss is right now"

Assistant Liu Guang was restless when the call ended. He did not know how much longer he could put on this act. CEO Wang Yu had specifically warned him not to breathe a word to his wife, Li Zi Yun about this. Assistant Liu Guang was really losing his mind. He was blatantly lying to his boss's wife and he did not know how the situation would evolve once Li Zi Yun knows the truth. As of now, Liu Guang already had enough problems on his plate and he did not know when everything was going to get out in the open. He had to keep everything in control for his boss, Wang Yu.

Liu Guang made a call to Zhou Nan Xi, "Young Ma'am is getting more and more worried. If the situation gets out of hand, deal with it"

Li Zi Yun stayed awake at night. Several random thoughts were on her mind, but nothing positive, everything pessimistic. Li Zi Yun was very restless. Having all these thoughts on her mind, did not let her have a peaceful night.

In the morning, Li Zi Yun had made up her mind. She was just an hour away from Wang Yu's office and she thought of visiting him directly.

When Mrs. Wang saw Li Zi Yun next day she asked her, "Why are your eyes red? Did you not sleep yesterday night? Go get sleep for some more time"

"No… I am going to the company…"

"Did Wang Yu ask you to come? How can he be so irresponsible?"

"No No… Mother… He did not ask me to come… He hasn't come home for two days and I just want to go and check up on him…"

"Sure dear… I'll ask the kitchen to pack something for him quickly…"

The entire time Li Zi Yun was on her way to the office, she was deep in thoughts. Why did Wang Yu not contact her for two days? Assistant Liu Guang had said that CEO Wang Yu was in a meeting but Li Zi Yun just could not accept that Wang Yu was avoiding her just because of some business meetings. Wang Yu had never done that before and Li Zi Yun could not understand why Wang Yu would do that now.
