1 In A Hotel Room

"Shit, it was hunky daddy," Lizeth muttered before she closed her eyes.

The last thing she remembered was the sound of his giggles and his voice saying, "I heard that."

***

Lizeth rolled over the bed, it felt so soft and comfortable. It was nothing like the bed she used to sleep in.

She even wondered what happened to her bed and to her room, it felt unfamiliar.

Even the smell of the room, the temperature, and the silk cloth pillow cover that felt so good on her skin didn't feel like it was her pillow at all. She even thought she was in a hotel. Since this is just how she imagined sleeping in a hotel bed felt like.

"Wait, was I really in my room?"

Lizeth abruptly opened her eyes and it seemed she was right. This didn't look like her room after all. The elegance seemed to tell that she was in a five-star hotel.

She looked around amazed at the same time worried and wondering what she was doing there. She squinted her eyes trying to think back to what had happened before that and she did remember being in a bar.

'Damn, I lost consciousness in a public place because of being intoxicated?'

Lizeth shook as she shuddered not only because of the freezing temperature inside the room but also because of realizing what she had done. Who was with her in that place?

She knew it wasn't Gaye's room either, it was too spacious and elegant for that. She looked around and found a telephone on the bedside table and beside it was a little brochure.

'Now, this answered all," she thought she looked at the brochure and she realized she was indeed in a luxurious hotel and the telephone on the bedside table was probably the intercom.

'But who the hell brought me here?' Lizeth pressed her head with both hands as she was trying hard to remember everything that happened last night.

But then, she heard some sound coming from behind a small door. Lizeth guessed it was a bathroom.

``Maybe, it's Gaye," she thought. She went to the bar with Gaye, her best friend and she could still remember that she met a guy who looked like Bob Marley, not really the appearance, just the get up though.

Yet at the same time, she also wondered how Gaye could afford them to be in that place. Maybe that Bob Marley guy brought them there and who knows he was truly a secret billionaire.

Lizeth had decided to stop thinking so much. She got up from that bed and decided to check on Gaye thinking that she was the one who was in the bathroom.

The bathroom door wasn't really closed and whoever was in there was sure not in the shower, since she hadn't heard a sprinkle if there was really someone in there.

The sound seemed to come from a machine. Actually, it sounded like an air blower.

'Gaye just took a shower and was now blowing her hair,' Lizeth tried to come up with a situation based on the sound of her surroundings.

Lizeth looked around and tried to feel comfortable with her surroundings when she saw her small shoulder bag above a counter. She immediately grabbed it and took her cellphone.

It was already three in the morning and she wondered if she got a lot of unread messages.

Nevertheless, what confused her more was that all those messages and missed calls were from 'Gaye?'

Aside from that, most of her messages were saying 'Where are you?'

She looked back to the bathroom and felt like a thunderbolt just hit her. If Gaye was looking for her, then who was she with just now? Who was that person inside that bathroom?

Goosebumps started to creep over her body, what if she was with a rapist, or had she been?

She abruptly ran towards the mirror and looked at herself. She closed her eyes and tried to feel her body, she wondered if whoever she was with had used her body.

However, she hadn't felt something weird. She felt fine. Although, she also knew that she wouldn't know how it would feel anyway since she had never been physical with a guy.

Nonetheless, it won't matter who she was with anymore. He was obviously a stranger to her and that made her unsafe. She immediately grabbed her bag and decided to run out from there.

She was about to go out when she remembered her denim jacket. She couldn't afford to lose it, it was a keepsake from her mom.

She looked around the entire room and flipped over the blankets and pillows, but she still couldn't find it.

Until it was too late for her.

The bathroom door opened and a topless man. He was holding a shirt as well as her jacket.

"Hi, you are awake. I washed your jacket and air dried it and it's ready for you to wear again."

Lizeth did remember the man, he was the man at the bar she noticed. Well, let's say caught her attention. She even named him hunky daddy, because he obviously was a mature man, not far from his dad's age.

However, he looked as hot as he was still in his twenties. He in fact looked more appealing than someone in their twenties. He was truly hot stuff, especially in her bare torso.

Lizeth was in a daze for a moment while staring at hunky daddy and didn't know what she should say anymore.

"W- w- who are you?" she said. But inside her mind, all she wanted to utter was, 'you are so hot, daddy.'

However, she couldn't do that. She wasn't the kind of person who would dare and blatantly say that. She was raised to be conservative.

"I'm…" He was about to say something when a phone rang from inside his pants pocket. He gestured a wait signal with his palm and took out his phone.

It wasn't a call, it was just a text message since he was only reading on it, or if it was a call he obviously had canceled it. Lizeth noticed his thumb swept over the phone screen and it only meant one thing, it was a call and he canceled it.

He damned canceled a call for her?

"I hope you remembered last night, but if you didn't. I want you to know that I was just helping you and didn't do anything to you. I saw you lost your consciousness because you were so drunk and alone. I had to bring you here so you could rest and at the same time so I could wash your jacket and my shirt. If you forgot, it was all covered with your puke," he explained.

The fear and worries that Lizeth just felt a while ago, had changed to shame.

"I- I'm sorry sir and thank you for helping me", Lizeth said while looking down.

"It's fine, by the way, I gotta go. Don't worry the bill was settled and you can stay here until twelve noon. Take care of yourself kid." He passed her the jacket and wore back his shirt.

He gave her a pat on the shoulder before he went out of the room.

Lezith was almost breathless with his touch, she didn't understand why but she felt like being electrocuted. If there was one thing that she knew, he would never forget that man again.

There was something in him that made her calm instead of being worried since he was but a stranger.

Lizeth sat back on the bed, daydreaming. But she also wondered, what really happened before that?
