27 I choose

I watched as my beautiful child laid there wrapped in a blanket. Today was finally the day that I got to take her home and I was more than excited. It's been a week since everything with Amy and Skylar happened, and lately I've just been staying at home and coming to visit Marie. I've been thinking non-stop about everything going on in my life and I honestly don't know what to do.

Sometimes I would think about when I was little and my mom always used to take me out to see a lake. It doesn't sound special but to me it was. That lake held so much meaning to it, although to the regular eye it meant nothing, to me it meant everything. We would just it there and stare out into the lake and all he other plants and tress and creatures that lived out there.

I was in a secluded area so not many people went there. Everything we went though it was always just us. She would point out to me all the creatures and all the different typos of plants. I would get bored and would of rather just sat there listening to mucus, but now that I look back at it, i would give up everything to just go back to those moments.

Those moments where there was nothing going on, those moments where I was a clueless child seeking for adventure. There was noting wrong....but now everything is wrong.

Skylar has been giving me my space to which I thank her for but other than that, I still can't stand that woman. I've also been thinking about what Amy told me. All week I've been remembering our past. We had so much fun and my love for her has never been more. But all that ended the day she left me. Don't get me wrong, I still have some type of feelings for her, I just don't know what those feelings are.

But out of everything, the main question that has been on my mind is, does Melanie know? Was she apart of this? Was this entire thing planned out from the beginning? Those questions have been haunting me at night. I sighed as I continued to hold Marie's hand. "I don't know what I am going to do." I said. There was a tear threatening to come out of me eye. "I have so many people who love, but I just don't know what to do. I love Amy. I really do. But she hurt me more than anything. But Layla, she has been with me for everything. She is and was the only person who I could turn to when shit got bad. She was there to hold me when I was down, but I don't know if I love her like that."

"Kind of sounds clear on who you should pick to me." I turned my head to see Leo leaning on the door frame with his arms crossed. I smiled and stood up.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked while giving him a tight hug.

"Well I heard that I got a new cousin." I chuckled as I let got of him and watched him walk over to Marie

"You know damn well she is technically your niece." He smiled. I've always counted Leo as my brother rather than my cousin.

"Well when I heard you had a baby I knew you were going to need someone to talk to. More importantly I want to know how the hell you got pregnant. Because when I left I'm pretty sure there were like four woman in your life." I loudly sighed as I nodded my head and bit my lip. Honestly I am happy that he came because I need someone to blow off steam to. I sat down and crossed my legs and smirked.

"You are in for a treat my friend."

Melanie's POV

"You did what?!" I yelled. I stood there with a vase in my hand getting ready to throw it at her head. Skylar stood on the opposite side of the room because she knows I will not hesitate to throw this thing at her.

"Let me ex-" before she could finish I through the vase at her. Unfortunately she ducked and I missed. She sighed as she put her head down and rubbed her face with her hands. When she looked back up she noticed I had another vase in my hand. "Where the hell are you getting-" I through it again because I didn't want to hear her speak.

She dodged it again which just pissed me off even more. "Can you please listen to me?! You don't understand."

"Oh I don't understand?!" I yelled. "From what you just told me, you injected Madelyn with Kyles sperm in a fucking bathroom at a club you followed her to the first day you met her?!!" My voice was getting louder by the second. Skylar didn't seem phased by it one little bit which made me want to throw more things at her.

"Yes you got that part right but can I explain why?" She said in a calm voice. That did nothing but make my anger rise.

"Go ahead Skylar, please! Tell me why you did it!" She took a deep breath and tried to come closer to me. She then looked at my face and realized it was best to keep her distance.

"I know you have been wanting a baby for a while. You can't carry the child and there is no way that I am. We have had agreements over this for years. At some point I realized it was just best for someone else to carry the child. When I saw Madelyn I knew right then and there she would be perfect. She was gorgeous, healthy, and kind. I knew she wouldn't go for it, but I also knew I wanted this baby as soon as possible. So whenever her interview was over I called Kyle and told him I wanted a sperm. That night I followed her to the club and injected her. When I found out she was pregnant I was more than happy. I knew we were finally going to have this baby. But as time grew I started to develop feelings for her. She was and is a charming person who would make anyone and everyone fall over heels for her. Which she managed to do with both of us." My breath got caught in my throat for a second. "I know you've been sleeping with her and honestly I don't blame you. When I found out I was a little bit upset, but I knew in the end it would be a good thing for the baby."

I felt my starting to spin so I sat down in the chair that was behind me. We were currently in one of the office which by the way is a total mess now. I felt hands on my knees and looked up. "I did all of this for us baby. Now we have a beautiful child and a gorgeous woman that we can call our own. I know how you feel about Madelyn, if you think she is apart of our lives now, just wait for a few days. She'll be with us." I tried to swallowing the spit that was in my throat but my mouth was to dry.

"Is this why Madelyn has been avoiding us?" She nodded her head.

"She wanted to leave, and I couldn't let that happen. So I told her some things that she didn't want to hear which apparently pissed her off. I've been trying to give her some space so she can cool off for a little bit though." I nodded my head. "Are you still mad?" I looked into her eyes and didn't say anything. Honestly I don't know how to feel right now. I'm in the mix of being pissed, stressed, hurt and all the other things above.

"I'm not mad, but I don't forgive you either." She sighed and nodded her head. I put both of my hands on either side of her face and made her look at me. "I would've appreciated if you would of told me. If you did we could of thought of something different. We could of got her used to us and then ask her if she wanted to have a child with us. I have no doubt she would of said yes because lets be honest, she can't resist us." Skylar chuckled and nodded her head.

"It's pretty funny actually how she tries to deny it though." I smiled as I brought her lips to mine. I love this woman so much, but sometimes she can be a little much.

Layla's POV

I sat on the bar stool staring off into space. I was a little tipsy but I still had a little self control. My thoughts were just consumed of Madelyn. I don't know why, I don't know why everyone is so attracted to her. I mean I can see why. She's beautiful, funny, just amazing. But i want her to my self. I know her boss likes her and i can tell that Madelyn is falling for her spell. Every time I see Skylar I just want to punch her in her throat. Skylar doesn't know what Madelyn had been through but I do.

She's been hurt, heartbroken, and before she came to Seattle, she was lonely. I made sure that she would never feel that way again. I kept her busy. I flirted with her, I gave her a job and more importantly I gave her a friend. As time went on every day I started to see Madelyn as more than a friend. She was something that I wanted.

My attraction towards her grew every time I saw her. When I flirted with her she thought I meant it as a joke, but it wasn't. I would hook up with so many other girls just to try and contagion myself from doing what I want to do to Madelyn. The day she told me that us being in a relationship wouldn't work down there tore my heart out. I wanted to be with her more than anything but she thought we wouldn't. She thought that because I sleep with so many other woman I wouldn't want to settle down with just one.

But that's the thing, she isn't just one random girl I picked up off the street. The day she agreed to be mine was one of the happiest days I had in a while. I couldn't contain my excitement. After that phone call I wanted to go to her but my work was in New York. I admit I was lying to Madelyn. I told her it had something to do with the coffee shop but it wasn't. One thing she doesn't know about me is that I own on of the worlds biggest fashion company.

I am rich and I have so many people who wait on me hand and foot. But one day I decided I didn't want to be alone anymore. So I moved to Seattle. I didn't want to be with someone who was only there for my money so I started a coffee shop. It was unnecessary but I did want to keep working. And it was just that one day Madelyn walked through those those doors, I just knew she was the one.

I sighed as I gulped down the rest of my shot. I don't know how every thing got to this point but I hate it. The woman behind the bar kept eyeing to which I knew i had to get out of there before I did something stupid. I put the glass down and walked out of the bar. The winter cold hit me as soon as i stepped outside. I watched as people walked around either with someone or with other people. There was this one couple that caught my attention. They were laughing with each other while holding hand. They were also feeding one another i think was ice cream. I don't know where the hell they got ice cream but it made me smile. I want that.

I closed my eyes and sighed. I need her.

I pulled out my phone and dialed her number. It ringed a few times but she soon answered.

"Hello?" I smiled once I heard her voice.

"Hey beautiful." I could just see her cheeks blushing from here.

"I love it when you call me that."

"And I love it when you turn into a tomato." I said.

"What's up?" I sighed.

"Just thinking about you."

"Well I'm glad I keep a space in you mind." I smiled even more.

"I need to talk to you." There was a small silence. "But if your with Marie it can wait.

"Oh no its fine. Leo is here anyways."

"What's up bitch." I heard. I laughed as I said hi. She agreed to come to my apartment. I then hung up and made my way back home.

It only took about ten minutes but once I pulled up I saw her waiting. "That was quick." She smiled as I unlocked the door. Once she was in I closed the door and took off my shoes. She followed me inside and sat down in one of the chairs that was in the kitchen.

"So what did you want to talk about?" I took off my coat as I took a deep breath and face her.

"I love you." She didn't say anything at first but just stared at me. "This is my second time telling you this and I swear to you I will say it everyday until my dying breath." I didn't see any facial expression instead she just looked into my eyes. I feel like she's trying to see through me but can't. It's like she's doubting me but trying not to.

But the next thing she did was surprising. She stood up and walked over to me and kissed me. I responded immediately but then I realized it wasn't a kiss that said 'I love you'. It was a kiss that said she's hungry. I didn't want to kiss her back because I haven't had any in a while so once I start, I'm not stopping. But I kissed her back anyways. Her hands started to roam my body and went up my shirt. I moaned into her as she bit my lips. Once her hands were to my chest I grabbed them and pulled away. "We can't avoid this by sex and you know it."

And that ladies and gentlemen is where I finally saw some face expression. But it wasn't one that I wanted to see. She yanked her wrist out of my grip and out of my shirt. She then turned away to walk out the door. I called after her but she didn't stop. Once the door was closed I put my head down and sighed.

Things weren't meant to got this was. I picked up a plate that was on the table and through it across the room. I watched as it shattered.

Skylars POV (Who's ready for this)

I picked up the final piece of glass and through it away. I knew how Melanie could get but I wasn't expecting this. As I through that last of it away I turned around to see her still sitting down with her hands in her head. I sighed as I walked over to her. I know she still is a little confused by this but I know she will get through it once we have out family together. I took her hand in mine and made her stand up.

She looked into my eyes and let out a deep sigh. "This is a good thing." I said. I had to keep telling her that because I knew she was telling her self it wasn't. She slowly nodded her head and then looked at me. Within one quick second I saw her eyes darken.

I smiled.

Her hands went up my shirt and to my chest, my eyes never left hers. I put my hands on the side of her face and brought my lips to hers. We both sighed in content. As the kiss started to get heated my phone ringed. I ignored it and so did she. She then turned me around and made me sit in the chair she was in and climbed on my lap. Her hands went to my face and mine to her waist. My phone started ringing again to which I groaned. She told me to answer it.

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and looked at the ID caller. My eyes went wide. "Hello?"

"Where are you?" I knew Melanie heard her and smiled because she hasn't heard her voice in a while and so did I.

"At my house, why?"

"Does Melanie know about us?"

"I'm confused."

"Answer the question."

"Yes she knows."

"Is she with you right now?" I looked up at Melanie she we both smiled.

"You would be surprised at how close we are right now." Melanie chuckled and started kissing my neck. Madelyn hung up the phone which confused the hell out of me. I didn't think much of it because Mel's kisses were consuming me to which I didn't hear the door opening.

Both of us looked up to see Madelyn walking through the door. "What are you doing-" before Mel could even get the word out her out Madelyn kissed her. My eyes went wide and so did Mel's. Both of us were confused but Mel still kissed her back. I watched them make out for minute until I could just feel my nipples harden.

"Not saying that I'm not enjoying this, but what's going on?" I asked. Madelyn pulled away from Mel and looked at me.

Madelyns POV

I sat in the chair as I felt everyone's eyes on me. I called them all here and not one of them knows why. Leo stood by me as he knew what was about to happen.

I looked at my beautiful child on more time and smiled as I took her hand in mine.

I sighed as I turned around. Amy, Layla, Skylar and Melanie all stared at me in confusion. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "I've slept with all of you." Not the bestest way to go but it was the quickest. Skylar and Melanie weren't as fazed as Amy and Layla was.

"Are you serious?" Layla asked. I slowly nodded my head.

"The only reason why I couldn't be with you is because I was stuck with these two." I said as I motioned towards Skylar and Melanie. "And if I'm looking into my future I realized I need to pick one of you to be in my life." This caught all of their attention. "I love all of you but I can't have all of you. So I'm choosing." I knew somewhere in Skylars head she knew I had to to choose her, but she wanted me to do it willingly.

I looked at Marie one more time and smiled, then looked at Leo. He smiled a little and nodded his head. I sighed on more time as I turned to face the four woman who have been such a good part of my life.
