"Why do no one know?" he asked.

I was gonna say "my mother's wishes" but the words didn't come out my mouth, instead tears flooded my face. He grabbed my left hand and looked at the gray line, it was about 2 inches from the palm of my hand.

"If I return the blood, would it go away?"

"No, it would never go away."

Just then a gleam of sunlight shined through the green hills causing me to faint.

"Hello? Hello? HEY YOU CAN'T FAINT ON ME!"

I woke up seeing a memory.

"HURRY THE FIRE IS SPREADING!"

"FEI HUANG IS STILL INSIDE, LET ME GO!"

Fei Huang? Isn't that my father, I thought. I walked closer to the women who screamed my father's name, it was my mother. A cry filled my ears, my mother turned and ran toward the little girl, I looked closer and saw it was the young me. I found out the truth as the fire spread, my father didn't die in the battlefield but of a fire.

"HEY, WAKE UP! DONT FAINT!"

I heard someone trying to wake me up, I didn't want to leave and face reality again. As the Emperor came, I felt a force trying to drag me.
