Chapter 7.

"Who are you supposed to be?" Doom asked in his deep, metallic voice, as he had a murderous glare directed at the person who had just stopped his attack.

For a moment Alex seemed to freeze in his place and didn't respond… it's not because he was trying to be cool… it's because he didn't think of a name, he had never thought of it before.

He didn't want to be called Superman ... but after a few seconds a good name came to his mind.

"My name is ... Krypton." Alex put on a deep, serious voice as he faced Doom.

Doom seemed to be confused by this name, even Susan was confused by the name.

What is Krypton supposed to be? ... This was a question that was never going to be answered, since in this universe there was no such thing as Krypton, so Alex had a free way to use this name, in addition to it suited him perfectly.

"Good Krypton ... You are getting into a matter that is not your problem, so get out of my way or you will know the consequences of your reckless acts" Doom released a serious threat, with that tone of voice anyone who did not have enough power he would get out of the way but ... the target of this threat was Alex.

Susan couldn't help but give a nervous look, because if this strange boy who had appeared in front of her left… it was certain that her life would come to an end.

"My reckless acts? What were you a school principal or something like that? Can't you think of something better?" Alex looked at Doom with disdain in his eyes, like he was looking at someone very stupid.

"Damn brat! You will pay your words!" Doom roared angrily, this stupid boy had to pay for his insolence.

"Here, with this I pay you the debt I owe you ..." Alex threw a blow with great force direct to Doom's jaw.

The sound of metal hitting metal was heard in the air, and Doctor Doom was sending it flying and even embedded in the street by the force of the blow.

A ditch was cut in the middle of the road, as the hard asphalt was what stopped Doom from flying into the ocean.

Alex shot a glance at Doom, now his metal jaw was completely dented and misshapen. Leaving his face in a permanent grin that looked quite funny.

"And that I restrained myself not to explode his head ... but this is not over yet" Alex muttered to himself, but Susan who was behind him heard him and she couldn't help but wonder: How had this not ended?" if Doom didn't even seem to move right now.

Alex's eyes lit up deep red, a sign that he was making use of his heat vision.

Contrary to how it is shown in the movies or in the comics, the heat vision does not look like a red ray, it just looks like the space in front of Alex's face begins to ripple; this is due to the high temperature.

Alex directed his gaze of heat in the direction of Doom, who was about 20 meters away from him. But this did not prevent Doom's metallic skin from turning red-hot in a few seconds. Alex didn't stop the heat vision of him and began to approach Doom step by step.

When he arrived in front of Doom that he was now in a somewhat regrettable state, since apparently Alex's contained blow was enough to strongly shake his brain, causing him to become unconscious.

"Take this as it was Reed Richards who defeated you, since this strategy was thought by himself" Alex said with a cold look when he saw Doom red hot, taking a little air into his lungs, Alex exhaled with force but what came out was not air, instead it was a white mist with a very low temperature, capable of freezing anything in a few seconds if used at its maximum power.

This mist drifted towards Doom, cooling him very quickly, but the temperature dropped so fast that Doom, who had previously been red hot, was now frozen. But Alex didn't stop there… as he kept lowering Doom's temperature without stopping his cold breath.

All the civilians stared in amazement at this scene, including Thing and the human torch who had already recovered, but the most surprised was Susan, as Doom was defeated as if he were an insignificant fly.

A total of 20 seconds later, Alex's breath caught and he revealed a totally frozen Doom.

"This is now my personal touch, tell me ... What happens when a metal is exposed to such a low temperature that even its atoms freeze?" Alex asked Doom as he crouched in front of him, but it was obvious that Doom wasn't going to answer, so Alex replied to himself: "Let me enlighten you… it gets a little… brittle."

With a small blow from his palm to Doom's chest, it began to crack until he broke into many pieces.

This scene left everyone present shocked, since no one expected the bad guy to be defeated just like that, it even seemed somewhat anticlimactic...

But definitely what did not match the scene, was that the hero who had stopped the villain, was using a pizza bag as a mask to cover his face.

"Well ... I better go" Alex thought quickly before using his super speed to leave the scene, but did not forget to take one last look at Reed Richards body, his body was supposed to look like rubber, how could someone like that die by lightning?

But when Alex saw the burned part of Reed's face, he understood why it all ended like this, so different from the original story...

Alex also didn't forget to leave the pizzas in the lobby of the Baxter Building, and returned to his work to change clothes.

"Alex, what happened to your bag?" Angelo asked as he held the pizza bag with holes to the side.

"I got stuck on a metal fence ... sorry" Alex quickly made up an excuse, he wouldn't let his boss find out that he had used his bag for deliveries as a way to cover up his identity while fighting a madman with delusions of God.

"I see ... I hope you understand that this was deducted from your pay Alex ..." Angelo said with a look of regret directed at Alex. But he only nodded, although he did not like the fact that he would lose part of his monthly income. This was just $ 672 that he used to deposit into his parents' account without them knowing.

"I will look for another way to earn money, in this job I feel that they exploit me as much as they can, and even so the pay is miserable just because I am not 18 yet" Alex thought with disagreement in his heart as he returned home.

When Alex got home, he noticed that the lights were still on, even though it was past midnight.

Upon entering he noticed that his family was waiting for him, sitting in the living room.

This caused a happy smile to be seen on his face, but when they turned to see him with a very serious look, and that Peter and his mother May had red eyes gave him a bad sign.

"Good that you arrived son ... come and sit down, I have some news to give you since your mother and Peter already know it" Ben said as he pointed to a seat next to him at the table.
