"Looks like there's a river there? Edgar come here quickly!" Maya called out to Edgar who didn't make a sound at all.

Feeling no answer from Edgar, Maya turned back to look at Edgar who was still lying in his place.

Soon Maya approached Edgar to take a look. Maya saw Edgar's body didn't move and didn't open his eyes.

"What's wrong with him?!" Maya asked suspiciously and a little worried seeing Edgar's pale face.

"Stupid!! Edgar!! what's wrong with you?" Maya asked timidly patting Edgar's cheek, but Edgar was still motionless.

"Cckkk!! you are not kidding idiot!! I'm serious now!!" Maya said with a worried mind and brought her index finger to Edgar's nostril.

Maya breathed a sigh of relief still feeling Edgar's breath and saw Edgar's chest was still heaving.

"Edgar!! fast wake!! You don't make me angry, or I will leave you here alone!" Maya said annoyedly, shrugging Edgar's shoulders then holding her upper back with one of her hands.

Maya stopped her movements when she felt her palms getting wet and slightly sticky.

With a furrowed brow and a bad feeling Maya looked at her hand.

"Looks like blood??? is this blood? Is Edgar hurt?!" Maya asked in her heart starting to feel panicked.

Maya quickly lifted Edgar's back to see the state of Edgar's back.

"Oh my god!! Edgar is really hurt!! how did this happen?!! isn't he fine? he's not in pain at all?" Maya said really panicked when she saw Edgar's right upper back had a gunshot wound.

"What should I do now? especially Edgar fainted." Maya said silently looking around her which was quiet and no one was there.

"Edgar... Stupid... wake up... Oh my God!! Edgar is really stupid, if he knew he was injured he should have gone to the doctor not here." Maya said while rubbing her forehead again looking around her.

"Now how should I help him? should i take that bullet with a knife? Then where is the knife?" Maya asked in her heart, remembering the action films she had seen.

"Should I leave him here asking for help? what if he is bitten by an ant or a snake? or tiger??" Maya asked while holding the nape of her neck pacing thinking of ways to save Edgar.

"Come on....Maya...you have to think fast!! Edgar can die if you think too long!!" Maya screamed in her heart, squeezing her hair feeling like her head was about to burst, not knowing what to do.

"That shitty motorbike!!! yeah.!! That motorbike!!" Maya said rushing to the place where the motorbike was lying not far from its place.

With full strength Maya pulled the motorbike that was lying down to stand back up.

"Hopefully this motorbike can still be used." Maya said while looking at the condition of the motorbike and the keys that were still stuck in the motor contacts.

"Bad bike, this time you have to help me! You don't want your master to die, do you?" Maya said turning the ignition and trying to start Edgar's motorbike.

Maya repeatedly turned on the motor but still couldn't.

"Oh Lord!! what's going on here, why doesn't this old motorbike start?!" Maya said with sweat starting to pour out.

"Motor is good, hurry up. You have to help us again, I promise you I will bathe you for seven days in a row if you turn on." Maya said while rubbing Edgar's motorbike.

While closing her eyes and praying Maya turned the ignition key again and pressed the on button slowly.

Maya laughed loudly when she heard the sound of the motor running.

"Finally, thank God! a kind motorbike!!" Maya said immediately getting on her motorbike and approaching Edgar.

Without turning off the motorbike, Maya got off the motorbike. With extra effort Maya lifted Edgar's body and sat him on the motorbike.

"How about this? if I don't tie him he'll fall down?" Maya said thinking hard looking for a rope to tie Edgar.

Without thinking Maya took off the outer shirt she was wearing and tore it lengthwise into three parts and tied them to each other until they became long ropes.

Wearing only a black tank top, Maya got on her motorbike and tied Edgar's waist around her waist very tightly.

While holding her breath Maya closed her eyes for a moment then slowly started her motorbike through the uneven road and out of the forest back to the village.

"Damn!!! I forgot my way home!! Where should I take Edgar?!" Maya said with a confused mind.

Without a destination, Maya runs her motorbike towards a road that looks quite busy. Without Maya knowing she entered an area that Maya did not know where.

Maya accidentally saw a doctor's name plaque on the side of the road, precisely in a house that looked deserted.

"Is this the Doctor's house? why so quiet? Is it because today is a holiday?" Maya asked in her heart, desperate to enter the very large courtyard right in front of the house that has an ancient but beautiful feel.

"Doctor Indira?" Maya said reading the name on the plaque attached to the terrace wall.

Maya carefully got off the bike and put her finger in Edgar's nostril.

Maya breathed a sigh of relief, Edgar was still breathing.

Maya with all her strength again lowered Edgar's body from the motorbike.

"Can I help you, Miss?" suddenly a voice behind her made Maya a little surprised.

"Uncle??!! You surprised me. Luckily I didn't have a heart attack." Maya said with a grimace to hold Edgar's body from falling.

"What's wrong with your husband, Miss? Is he hurt? looks like he was badly injured." asked the man with his well-built body carrying a broom.

"Uncle, he is not my husband but a friend. My friend is currently injured. He was shot by someone I don't know, He was seriously injured. is Doctor Indira there?" Maya asked with her body slightly tilted, unable to hold Edgar's tall body any longer.
