2 Chapter 1
Hi everyone my name is Luna, yes I changed my middle name with my first, but everyone has my first name it seems. So tomorrow is the first day of school again and I am happy since my friend Sarah has been driving me crazy a bit all through break. I mean I am not going to hook up with a guy that I do not even know. Plus I am waiting for my other half. Most people call them their soulmate while others call them partners for life. She just thinks it is best to get it over and be prepared when my other half comes along. If he does not like that I am a virgin when we meet then it is his loss. No I have not been raised in a very religious household. I just want him to be my first and last for everything. Yes I am a virgin in every way possible. And that includes kissing, holding hands, etc. So no I have never had a boyfriend before. No Sarah is not a slut or a whore, but she has had sex before only once since she got drunk with her parents' approval if she only drank in front of them. While to be honest her parents are not like any other parents I have meet. They were even cool with her loosing her virginity while they where asleep. Sarah now does not let the window left unlocked and since then she has never had sex again. Today was like any other day on our break, but since it was our last day of freedom she dragged me to a party with her. A party thrown by the one and only Mrs. Popular. We used to be friends in elementary, but after we graduated and went to Jr. High we grew apart and never talked to each other since then. That first year is when I meet Sarah and we became best friends and still are no matter what. We are so close that even her parents consider me their daughter and vise versa. Like we even literally live at the others house throughout every year. All through summer we have been staying at her house and my parents are having their second honeymoon, but I think they are trying to have another child. Why else has my mom been not embarrassing me so often. Like she used to say " Oh my baby is growing up way to fast!" then she would cry having my dad try to calm her down. Do not get me wrong I am glad that she is not embarrassing me as much anymore and that they are happy, but at the same time it is like I do not exist when I am staying at Sarah's house.
I look in the mirror and see a whole new me, but it is not me since I would never wear a mini skirt with silver heels and a black almost see through crop top. She drags me downstairs and we say our goodbyes to her parents then head to the party.
The party is very loud with drunk people, but I myself have only been drinking water that I brought with me. I wish I was in bed reading my werewolf romance book or taking a long bath to relax before going back to school.
Three house later I drag Sarah out having enough of the scene before me and before Sarah can get into trouble. Some people at school even calls her an imp and she does it on purpose, which only makes it worse since it is like saying Beetlejuice three times. Once we are back I land on the bed exhausted and ready to just relax.
'beep' 'beep' 'beep''beep''beep''beep''beep'.
I hit the alarm clock and head to the bathroom to get ready for school.
An hour later I am fully dressed in my black leather pants, black boots, black with gold shirt. I look at the time and see it is 6am meaning I have only an hour to wake Sarah up, force her to get ready, and cook breakfast for us. I wake her up first and to say it was easier than before is an understatement. She was already awake and just looking at her phone.
"Are you completely up?"
"Of course, I can not miss the first day of our last year of school in that school." Sarah says.
I want to see if she sick, but before I could she gets up and runs to the bathroom then runs back out and grabs her things. Either she meet someone last night that is attending our school or she is sick. I push that to the side and head downstairs to find Mrs. Smith cooking and when she sees me she smiles and puts her finger to her mouth indicating there is no room for arguing. So I head to the living room and grabbed mine and Sarah's bags.
After breakfast her dad drops us off at school and says he will see us tonight. Before we got to far he told us to be good. Like I need to be told, I am the opposite of Sarah most of the time while Sarah is always up to no good when we are at school. Just last year she pranked Jonas for him just hitting on her. The prank almost got her expelled, but I could not let my beauty be expelled at least alone. In the end we just got detention for a month. My parents were not to pleased, but when the heard the full story they understood.
It is almost half way through the school day and to say the next class is my favorite is another understatement. I walked in and when class started a guy ran through the door and sat next to me. I have never seen him before and he is hot.
"Okay class quite down." Mr. Anderson says.
"Okay so today we are going to be seeing how much you guys remember from last year.... Oh and Luna please do not mix things again. I know you remember a lot and are curious, but let's not have the school filled with smoke again." Mr. Anderson says.
Yep that is one of many things that almost got me and Sarah expelled. It would probably happen again if Sarah had this class with me, but she had it the period before me. I think the principal made sure we would not have this class at the same time, so it would not happen again.
All through class it was just a refresher.
"I'm Luna can you help me find my last two classes?" Jacob asks.
"Sure let me see your schedule."
I looked over it and see he has every class with me after this one except for the last period he has free period meaning he can leave school or stay doing his school work if he has any and still get credit for it either way.
"Dang how did you get last period before school is out free?"
"My family knows the school board and I have other things to do." Jacob says.
"Your lucky, anyways after this class we have lunch and we have the same classes before you leave. I can show you around."
"Okay. I can get to the lunch room, but can I sit with you?" Jacob asks.
"If yo do not mind sitting with my best friend also."
He follows me to the lunch room and once we sat down I texted Sarah to she where she is.
To: Sarah
From: Luna
Hey BF I am at our table and I brought a friend with me. Where are you?
I hear my phone go off.
To: Luna
From: Sarah
I am with Jake. He asked me out on a date. We are heading to Sonic do you want me to get you anything?
I replied with a smile.
To: Sarah
From: Luna
No thank you and have fun, but do not be late for our next class. I want you to meet someone.
She replies immediately.
To: Luna
From: Sarah
Who?
I replied.
To: Sarah
From: Luna
You'll see.
She messaged back with a frowny face. When Jacob came back from the lunch line I put my phone away.
"Where is your friend?" Jacob asks.
"She went out for lunch with a friend."
He nods and we eat in silence only talking once we finished our food.
