Erica's POV

Monday comes in a blur. School time. Ugh.

I wear a short white skirt and a sleeveless pink top with a ribbon at the front and light white sweater. My black hair is tied up in a high ponytail. Dad drives us to school.

We are directed to the principal's office where we get our schedules. I head to my new locker and oh boy, whoever used this thing, sure was yuck. Now I have another job of cleaning it up.

"Hey," said a melodious voice behind me and I jump, almost hitting my head on the door of the locker.

"Goodness, you startled me." I whisper yell while turning around. I thought it is Star but it is...wait for it...the pretty girl I found at the restaurant.

"Sorry," she says with a wide smile. "My name is Moana, BTW."

"Oh, nice to meet you. I'm_____"

"I know, Erica, right?" she interjects, still with that sweet scary wide smile on her face. I am completely surprised at that. Bitch knows my name. Would you look at that. "Let's get you to your class, shall we? Maths is it?" Gee, I have a big fan here alright. She leads the way down the hall until she stops in front of a door.

"Well, here we are. See you at lunch break," she says while walking away. Holy, I mutter under my breath. Okay, what just happened. I enter inside the room and sit at the very back.

The bell rings and different students enter the room, chatting probably about the weekend. Man I hate Maths. So I spend the rest of the lesson drawing designs in my notebook. Sometimes I think that maybe I will be a designer, but then again, dad wants me to be a doctor. I'm pretty sure I'll be the worst doctor in the whole wide world.

I find Star seated with Candy, her new friend, in the cafeteria.

"Erica, get your ass over here." She shouts at me. The moment I reach the table, I am literally dragged to sit down, almost pouring my lunch on the tiled floor.

"What's up?" I ask, whilst making myself comfortable on a rather uncomforting seat.

"Well, for starters I've already got a few guys trying to hitting on me___"

"Wait a minute, wait a minute. It's our first day in this school and you are already hooking up with guys." I say in disbelief.

"Who said I've accepted them. They are just not my type." She states.

Just then, Moana walks over to our table, with a plateful of salad. She sits beside me. "So how were your classes?" She asks.

"They were okay, I guess,"

"Moana, aren't you supposed to be with the Rps?" Candy asks.

"Oh, they annoy me. I've decided to take a break from them and spend time with my new friend." She answers and smiles at me. Friend?? Okay. She is really pretty now that I take a good look at her.

"But...they will try to make a scene," Candy insists.

"Oh, Candice, don't worry about them."

"Okay...who the hell are the Rps?" I ask, totally lost.

"It's a group of the richest and popular girls in school. They are 7, with Moana included. Trust me they always want to create a scene," Candy explains.

"Oh__" God, I hate being interrupted.

"Moana, what the hell are you doing here?" A sharp squeaky voice asks behind me.

"Oh, hi Riana, what's up," Moana says.

"Well, apart from the fact that you are not at our table, nothing is up. Now shall we?" Riana asks.

"No, Riana, I'm so sorry. Maybe tomorrow."

Riana stares at us, her mouth pressed in a thin line. She smiles and then stomps off. "Phew, that was close." Candy exclaims.

"They need me and they want to get closer to my brother. So, they will not make a scene here," Moana says, "though I don't know about later when you guys are not with me."

I then find out that Moana is from one of the richest families in the state and the third richest in school. Whoever thought!

"Hey, um I'm going to my gymnastics class. Maybe I'll see you later," Moana says while standing up.

"Ok."

Our friends head to their different classes though Star and I don't have one since we have just joined the school. So we hang out near the soccer field, on the bleachers.

We sit at the very last row. We jazz and Star decides to show me some of the guys trying out with her. One of them is James, a blonde with blue eyes. He sure is good-looking. In fact, they all are. Then there is Andrew, blonde and green eyed. And last but not the least, Drake with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She says that there is absolutely no way she is going to date any of them. Hmm...I sure hope so.

After sometime, we hear voices coming from behind the bleachers. Figures make there way around the corner and head in our direction. That's when I recognise a familiar face. Where have I see it. I make a quick scan through my head and bingo. He's the guy that I bumped into in town the other day, the one that pretended to help only to let go after. So he goes to this school. He is with 6 other guys. Is it another clique?

I suppose the guys notice us since they change direction and instead head directly towards us. I can smell the mixture of perfumes that linger in the air. Then shadows fall in front of us as the guys loom behind us.

That's when Rudy decides to step in front of us. Yeah, I decided to name him Rudy, for lack of any names to fit his personality.

He raises his eyebrows when he sets eyes on me. Okay, he remembers me. I guess. One of the other guys, a blonde with brown eyes, decides to speak up.

"What do we have here?" He asks.

"What do you want?" Star asks.

"Well, this is my territory. So what are you girls doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in class?" Not any of your business.

"Hmm as you can see, we are relaxing. No class stress," Star answers. All this while, I keep my mouth shut. I can feel Rudy's stare on me, as if daring me to look into those blue electric orbs. Okay, maybe I'm a bit exaggerating but anyway.

"I like you already," the blonde guy says, "we are gonna be good friends."

And with that he walks away with his army behind him, but not before blowing a kiss in the air. I watch as Rudy's back retreats and disappears around the next corner. "What was that about?" I ask.

"Hey, don't ask me. I don't know those guys,"Star immediately defends herself and I don't want to argue with her.

School ends at 3 and Star tells me about how dad isn't going to make it to pick us up. So we have to wait for mom who is still at a hairdressing salon.

What do I do meanwhile? I have no idea.

Moana comes over from behind and surprises me. "God, you should stop doing that," I tell her while holding my hand to my chest.

"Sorry, I'm going now but my brother isn't coming," she says that more to herself, "I'll see you tomorrow." And then she leaves.

I remember that I still have to clean my locker. So that's my next stop.

I get a bucket and sponge from the janitor's room to clean my locker. There are no people in the hallway as most students are already gone, leaving a few like us.

I stand, facing down the hall, and someone bumps my shoulder real hard. I stumble a bit, "Hey, watch where you are go___"

I stop. In front of me stands the blue eyed handsome devil. His lips turn up into a smirk. "Like what you see?" He asks, amusement flowing through his every word.

"In your dreams," I state bluntly.

"Oh, c'mon princess. Who wouldn't want this," he says, gesturing to himself, "I know you do."

Now I am ticking off.

"One, my name is NOT princess. Two, not every girl can fall for your...charms. Certainly not me."

"So you are saying that I'm hot," a mischievous smirk spreads across his face. Oh, how I want to wipe it off. Seriously, I'm meeting the guy for the second or third time and I'm already hating him with every atom inside my body.

"I never said that. If you may excuse me, I have somewhere else to be." And with that, I walk off in the direction he had come from. I hate it when someone brags about themselves. I walk to a window in one of the classrooms.

Looking out the window, I inhale sharply, closing my eyes, and then breathe out.

I'm all better.

I walk back into the hall, good enough Rudy isn't there anymore. I pass by my locker and go down the flight of stairs that lead to the ground floor. I open the huge glass doors and walk into the parking lot. I can see mom's car parked in a spot. I walk over.

"Where the hell have you been? I've been calling on your phone but you weren't answering," an angry Star yells, probably tired of being here.

"You called? Sorry I didn't here it. I was a bit busy."

"Get your ass inside and we leave already." Yep, she is tired alright.

"Star, mind your language," mom says.

"I would if people didn't annoy me."

Mom drives in silence and when we get into our driveway, I practically jump out. I have problems of my own people. I walk through the living room and go up the grand staircase, through the right hallway and enter my room which is 3 doors on the right. The left hallway is mostly filled with guest rooms and the master bedroom.

I throw my bag on my working table, remove my shoes and slump onto my bed. Someone knocks, disturbing my peace. I groan and yell, "c'mon in." The door opens a bit and Star forces her head through the small opening, smiling at me.

"Hey, I'm sorry about the way I acted earlier," she says, "I was just a little tired of school grounds."

"It's okay, I know how you get when you are like that," I muffle, my head buried in the pillow on my bed.

Just when I think she's gone, a heavy load drops onto my already tired body. I scream at the sudden wait on top of me.

"You know, there is another guy I saw earlier at school," and she's back, "he looked really cute. He had blonde hair with brown eyes..." Her rant goes on and on. I don't really listen to everything.

I have my head wrapped up around the guy that bumped into me in the hall this afternoon. Yes, I'm talking about Rudy. What is his real name anyway?

God, he can be a jerk. Now, I know for sure that I will never fall for him.

Star slips off me. "I'm gonna go hang out with Candy. I'm getting bored here."

"Sure, have a nice time." And with that, she goes out.
