5 Phoebe's Plan

A few days passed...

At ten o'clock in the morning to be precise in the walk-in closet room, Phoebe looked at the small object in her hand which was a pregnancy test that showed a positive result, making her smile with teary eyes. The woman was very happy because she was finally pregnant with the fruit of her husband's love.

"I have to tell John now. I'll surprise him while delivering lunch for him," said Phoebe enthusiastically then immediately left the walk-in closet without forgetting to put the test in a drawer first.

Phoebe moved quickly, and immediately cooked John's favorite menu with enthusiasm. The woman was so excited, imagining how her husband would be so happy with the surprise she was about to give him.

In the office, John was sitting intently staring at the file of documents his secretary had just given.

"So when I left two days ago there was a bit of a mess?"

"Yes sir. Your parents are also coming here...I don't know how to say... but luckily they didn't ask me much about your leaving," explained the secretary who was a girl of about 25 years wearing a women's maroon suit.

Rachel brushed John's hand away from her cheek. "I'm coming here one last time before I go back to New York," she said as she walked over to the couch.

John also followed Rachel but he stopped briefly at his desk and called his secretary to not allow anyone to enter his room. After that, he sat on the couch, side by side with his mistress who looked sad.

"What is the real purpose of you returning to New York when there is a very strong reason for you to stay here?" asked John.

"Of course, I had to go back to New York because that's where my home is, that's where my parents' house is...You also have to remember I still have a boyfriend, and you also still have a wife," Rachel replied curtly.."If you miss me, you should come to New York, because I don't want Mom or dad to suspect me if I come to Ohio all the time, because they know that you are here as my past...I don't want them to suspect I'm in a relationship with you, moreover I also rarely spend time with Grandma. John sighed, then pulled Rachel onto his shoulder. "I see... I understand your situation."

At home, Phoebe had finished cooking. She immediately returned to the room to take a shower, then changed clothes. The woman wore a blue overalls dress with open sleeves, then added a black blazer to cover her sleeves. she also wore light make-up and tucked some of her hair back, without forgetting to spray Japanese blossom-scented perfume on her body.

"I'm sure he will like it because I suddenly came to his office after a long time I haven't been to his office, then he will be even more pleased when he sees a surprise from me," Phoebe mumbled, quickly picking up the washed pregnancy test.

Phoebe came out of the room with a small cream-colored bag, immediately went to the kitchen and put the pregnancy test in a small plastic, then put it in a black cloth bag where there was also a basket containing a lunch menu for John.

"Okay….I'm leaving now," she said with relief, quickly leaving the house with a small bag and cloth bag filled with lunch and surprise menus.

"Sis, where are you going?" asked Matheo who was about to leave for campus. he looks very cool wearing black jeans combined with a yellow shirt with a black jacket, wearing a black bag, and combing his hair in a spiky style.

"I'm going to John's office to drop off lunch," Phoebe replied, pausing to stare at Matheo.

"Then let's go together. I'll take you," said Matheo.

Phoebe nodded, then immediately left the house together with Matheo. They departed using Matheo's Jeep which was a gift from John.
