OVERWHELM
A long time ago people lived on earth. What was discarded as monkeys were in fact human. They lived among monstrous creatures like dinosaurs, with no means of defending themselves, they were vulnerable. In order to survive in that world full of monsters they developed the highest level of adrenalin reactions, that when threatened, they turned into monsters themselves, to gain the strength to fight other monsters. In time they came to realize that, that power was triggered by strong emotion, so they called it Overwhelm, they believed that it was an ability worthy of a warrior. Women all over the world were happy to marry one of them, it was an honour. As a result they had many wives and made countless children. With evolution, that power weakened to the point we call humanity, they ones who still had it were called monsters and casted out of the human society. They weakest of their kind were hunted to near extinction, however the government noticed that they could not take out their strongest social groups, so they negotiated a coexistence agreement. Few years later, under another leader the monster society revolted seeking to regain their formal glory.
