Watch The Rain
If you are hurting,
In pain,
Empty in any way,
Watch the rain.
It might seem silly,
Or even a little weird.
It really helps,
So watch the rain.
It shows
That God is crying with you,
That you are not alone,
So watch the rain.
The one you lost
Is up there,
Crying too,
So watch the rain.
They know you miss them,
And they miss you too.
They know their absence
Is hurting you,
So watch the rain.
It's a way to say
Their last goodbyes,
The words they never got to say,
So watch the rain.
Each lightning strike,
Each blast of thunder,
Is them
Telling you to
Watch the rain.
Saying with every drop
That they are happy and safe,
That you should live freely,
So watch the rain.
They will always remember,
As you remember too,
Your time together,
So always watch the rain.

Marine Pov
Wow, what was going on in front of me was surreal,
she was there helping her to give birth, you could see experience in these gestures. At first, when she came back to the cave she looked at me, but I did not understand why, observing her closely I found that she looked like my queen except for her hair and eyes, she had black hair with slight curls and dark blue and green eyes.
'Oh, it's a- ",
The baby was crying, after covering the baby with a blanket from the basket, she gave the child to her mother and the baby calmed down immediately.
~~ Time skip ~~
It all happened very quickly after giving birth, Martha was holding her baby in her arms. But a few moments later, Martha's condition was worrisome since she had a hemorrhage.
Lia had helped her give birth and then said that if they did not act quickly, the bleeding would cause the mother's death.
Unfortunately, Lia did not have with her what she needed to help Martha. The more the minutes passed, the more the situation worsened.
Silence.
She is gone.
RAIS Pov
Before dying, Martha asked Lia to take care of her baby.
Lia wondered if she was capable of it and thought to herself that maybe when Martha said:
"Take care of my baby. "
She was asking this to Marine and her. The two had never taken care of a child before, but Martha had to be buried for now.
Maximilien, Elena (Carillia's parents), Maximus, and Martha (Mira's parents) were buried under the tree, where Lia and her father had eaten their picnic.
The body of the father and his best friend were found where the confrontation took place, that of Lia's mother at her home, but Mira's body was never found. Marine was still hopeful that maybe, despite her shoulder injury, Mira was still alive.
For the burial, Lia could count on the help of the inhabitants of her village.
They also helped to bury her grandmother's village's inhabitants too, just like her hope to meet one of her grandmothers, her grandmother's village no longer existed.
Burying the bodies of the people you care about is not easy for anyone.
Lia had no one left.
She lost everything but gained a new family, just like Marine and the newborn.
Plus, Lia needed to learn to control her power. And for that, she could count on the help of Marine.
~~ 6 years later ~~
"What do you mean you did not find him I gave you a single order to find me this son of a bitch who dares to question my ability to govern and you, you good-for-nothing, couldn't even manage to follow one order? '' yelled the king to his knights,
then he sat down on his throne.
It's been a few months since someone has been having fun putting up posters mocking the kings, they still did not know who could be so crazy to provoke the king.
"My king every time we thought we caught him finally, he always manages to escape every time-"
"And you thought that it interests me to know that, all that I want is results, not your pathetic excuse" cut off the king
"Excuse me your majesty, what I am trying to say was that despite the traps that are made to catch him, he manages to escape as if he knew in advance ..."
The king looked at the knight with a blank face, he hadn't understood that idiot king,
the knight sighed
"My king, I think there is a mole among us, that would explain why he always knew in advance our traps, thwarted them, and left without being caught..."
The king was silent for a few moments,
"Who could it be?" asked the king calmly, it was astonishing since the knights present in the room believed that he was going to throw a tantrum instead when he heard about it.
"We do not know your majesty"
The king massaged his temples
"You don't know, eh, .... I'm surrounded by good-for-nothing"
The king stood up
"I am giving you a week to catch this so-called mole and his accomplice a week, and if you come back empty-handed, your heads will no longer be attached to your bodies."
The knights swallowed their saliva,
BOOM
they startled
The king had just left
"We're in deep trouble," said one of the knights,
the others nodded in agreement.
