1 1. Freshmen year

My name is Spencer my twins name is Samuel. We were very close. We were so excited to finally be in high school.

We both tried out for our respective sports over the summer. He played football and I played baseball. We both made it on the team he started practicing with the team. He was a running back.

I didn't start practicing until after school started.

The first few weeks we were trying every player in every position. It was apparent pretty soon that I would be the pitcher.

After a few football games my brother was famous at our school. He was the main cause of our three wins.

He was so popular all the girls loved him then when they found out he had a twin they loved me too. All the cheerleaders were all over him and me too. He loved it. I didn't

We were very different he played football even though he didn't look it he was stronger then me by a lot. He was also in normal classes whole I took AP classes in school. Except science. I hated chemistry.

After the football team winning and all the cheerleaders chasing after Sam he finally choose one. She was alright she seemed a little stuck up but if that is what he likes I'm not one to judge. She was blonde and shorter. She was 5'5 while my brother and I were currently 5'8.

We played a couple games before Thanksgiving break. We won every game because no one could hit my pitch.

During the break Sam brought his girlfriend Brittney over to meet our parents. They were so excited to meet her then they asked me why I didn't have a girlfriend.

Brittney answered " I'm not sure why he isn't dating anyone either. There are so many girls at our school who just love him. They would love to be with him."

My mother looked at me. "So Spence why don't you go on a date?"

I just looked at the ground. "No one there interests me very much." 

They left the topic alone and we had dinner they asked Brittney all these questions about herself and what she does in school and who her family is.

After a few days we went back to school. We sit at the popular table and they were all just talking about the winter dance that was supposed happen in a few weeks. I didn't care about the stupid dance. I didn't have a date so I wasn't planning on going.

I was looking out into the cafeteria and I saw everyone staying away from a certain boy. He was blonde and looked angry at the world. I tapped the football player next to me and asked who he was?

"Him? That's Parker James, he was kicked out of his last school. He is supposed to be on probation for fighting. I heard this isn't the first school he was kicked out of either. This is one of the last schools in the state that will take him. He is a junior and dangerous and will most likely be in jail soon."

I nodded and kept staring at him. He was in the middle of a circle of people. They were all atleast 10 feet from him. As I looked at him droning out the people around me he caught my eye and I quickly looked down.

Parker James. Why was I so interested in him?
