I don't remember when it happen

All I can remember was the party

I finally got to hang out with the cool kids of the school

It was going to be the best night ever

Until he walked in

Derek the bad boy

Making all the girls drop

Everyone knows that Derek would do anyone

That was if you were a cute girl

Which is not me. Yep I'm a guy who is gay

Though everyone seemed to already know and wasn't surprised when I told my family and friends.

Which I guess is fine with me

Just wanting to get through high school and get to college. All I wanted was a great time but Derek that motherfucker had to ruin it.

Here's how it went down

The morning of I walked into the kitchen with my mom grabbing herself a cup of coffee.

"Hey mom I'm leaving for school"

"Okay be safe"

My mom was at the top of her class and well rounded. She is now head of her own company that is skyrocketing

My dad comes out of the his room and shouts towards my direction, " don't do drugs"

"Honey!" My mother exclaimed

"I'm just kidding he knows that" my dad said.

My dad was the prime athlete, the star quarterback. He met my mom at school in the library and everything ended up here.

Now he's the mayor of the town and well loved by everyone.

And here I am not knowing if I'll make it through high school. I walked out of the house and headed toward the school. Until I heard a motorcycle coming from behind. I stopped in my tracks and turned around.

Great here comes Derek

I watched as he passed by me letting the wind he created from his bike hit me in the face.

We used to be childhood friends until middle school. He became the popular social kid and I became the intellectual nerd.

Oh well good riddance I would tell myself.

I looked down at my watch and noticed the time

SHOOT IM GONNA BE LATE

I started running until I got inside my classroom right as the bell rang

I take my usual seat in the front and class begins.

Just as class ended however one of the so called popular kids stood up and shouted

"Hey everyone is invited to my house party tonight"

The whole class cheers

My friend beside me turned toward me and mouths

"We are going to the party no matter what"

Well guess that's decided then

I'm going to this dumb party.
