5 YEARS AGO.

Standing alone at the altar,the once smiling face of Anna Lee has been replaced by a heavy frown. She could hear the whispers and grumbles from the guest,she tried her best to ignore them and focus but they seem to be finding their way to her ears,sweats were beginning to form on her forehead as all efforts to reach the groom has been futile.

Are you sure it was Master David who proposed?, The whole engagement saga might just be faux . One of the guest asked someone sitting close to her.

I'm beginning to think so too, it's been more than two hours already and the groom is still yet to arrive, the seatmate answered.

Finally, something will finally bring down those proud shoulders of hers, the first lady spoke again,this time with a sneer.

Aria wasn't sure she could call the words whispers again as they keep on getting louder with each second that passes by, trying her best to restrain the tears from falling,she blinked continuously.

The priest who was supposed to conduct the service was beginning to pack his things.

Sir please,wait for five minutes,it won't take long for him to be here,the pitiful bride begged the priest desperately going down on her knees.

I'm sorry miss,but there's another service I have to be at,you can fix another date when the groom is ready, the priest said with an apologetic smile.

Can't you wait for just a little while more,I'm sure something must have been keeping him,she begged desperately almost holding the legs of the priest to stop him from leaving.

I wish I could, he replied once again as he began to leave.

Out of nowhere a car came rushing to the front of the church leaving loads of dust behind it, the door of the car opened and it was none other thank the groom.

Standing up quickly,she dusted herself,her tearful and pitiful face has been replaced with the brightest of all smile, anyone who didn't know her would be amazed by the rapid switch of emotions.

I told you he'd soon be here,she told the priest,baring all her teeth for him to see, he isn't one to leave me han... She couldn't even finish her sentence as her eyes went wide in shock, wondering what had stopped the blabbering girl from speaking,the priest turned around and along with hers,his eyes also went wide in shock. Leaving the priest alone at the altar , Aria rab towards the groom,after meeting him she held his hands and smiled at him,

I knew you'd come, did you bring a bridesmaid for me?, But why is she also putting on white?. Let's go,the priest is waiting, she tried to drag him but he wasn't moving, she continued I'm not angry you came late okay,let's go before people begin to think something's wrong.
