Max left the palace through the back door, he didn't want to attract too much attention to himself as he was planning to leave the city undetected, and after talking to the guards about the reason for his leave, he was finally allowed out of the palace.

Max didn't plan to stay a single additional day in this kingdom, and even though Elly wanted to take things slow, the assassin was more of a fast-paced guy.

"Are you sure about this?" Elly asked him, worried.

"Yeah," he replied, "let's go."

And so they left the city, and eventually arrived at the edges of the kingdom right as the sun was setting, they had taken some breaks as Elly was tired and they needed to eat.

"We can thank Lilia for the dimensional bag," Elly chuckled, holding the gift her friend gave her to help them on their journey.
