After an outbreak of a mysterious virus, humanity was at stake. With no way to cure the disease, the population plummeted. When humanity was at its worst, a miracle happened. Survivors of the virus started to gain supernatural abilities and the symptoms seemed to grow less and less. But, when the catastrophe seemed to come to a halt, the virus which had laid dormant inside the unlucky few started turning them into horrible monsters. To combat the monsters, a superpowered force was established to rid the earth of evil. 37 years later, Rhys was born a powerless cur set aside from society.
