1 Prologue

"I'm sorry..But I don't know who you are."

The mans' face fell in disbelief. He crossed his arms and stared at me, I shivered feeling uncomfortable, then stepped back.

"Are you serious? It's only been a year…"

I shook my head, "I only remember one year. I don't remember anything else, I can't help you."

His eyes lit up, he grinned a little and took my hand in excitement, "So you just have amnesia, you're not being cruel! And I can get you to remember, we still have a chance!!"

I smiled warmly with sadness in my eyes. I didn't know who this man was but I already knew something very serious happened between us. Something I didn't remember, and never could.

I squeezed his hand tightly, "I'm so sorry, but I already have a boyfriend…"

His veins pulsed out of his neck and his face turned red, "You're joking right? You can't be serious..We were going to get married! You are everything to me! I love you, how can you just move on like that??"

I frowned, "I don't remember anything. I'm really sorry, but I'm with somebody else."

The man seemed to stand even taller and released my hand. His eyebrows furrowed as his eyes began to water.

"You don't even remember my name?..."

"No..I'm really sorry."

He fell to his knees holding his face weeping. I couldn't help but feel guilty. I didn't mean to hurt him, but he's a stranger, and I'm already dating Erik.

I gently rubbed his shoulder, he cried harder, so I clutched his arm.

Soon he calmed down, but he started to shake again.

"How long have you two been dating?" He whispered.

I flinched at his question, "Um, not long, why?"

"How long?"

I sighed, "A month after the accident.."

"It only took you a month to get over me??"

"Please don't say that, I have amnesia. I'm really sorry but I can't do anything about it…"

The man started to rise so I let go and stood before him. I glanced at his hand, and saw a balled fist shaking.

"How could you?!" He yelled.

My eyes widened as he twisted his body and held up his fist, the turned using full force and aiming for my face.

My body fell back to the ground like weights. Immense pain shooter all throughout my face, but mainly my left cheekbone. I'd probably have a black eye.

I looked back up at the man, his fist was still clenched and his jaw was still tight. He was still angry.

He slowly crouched down and lifted up my chin with his hand, he stared me in the eyes.

"I'm not letting you go that easily.."

My eyebrows furrowed, confused by what he meant, but when he cupped his hand over my mouth and nose, I knew exactly what he meant.
