Coughing uncomfortably, I shoot them a fake smile and clapped my hands together.

My legs felt like jelly and I put my noodle arms on the table trying to regain my senses, I don't think I have ever worked this much in my entire life. My heart pounded heavily and I gulped the whole bottle of water in the blink of an eye trying to calm myself down as I felt slightly light headed.

Out of nowhere, a taco appeared in front of my eye, and I did what every sane person in my place at this moment would do.

I freaking snatched the taco like a madwoman and inhaled it in seconds. I WANT MORE. Looking up at Hunter who now sat in front of me I ran my tongue over my teeth where a piece of taco stuck and wasn't getting out. Hunter sat there holding up his jaw with his hand staring at me, like a creep, softly, his hair falling in front of his face covering his eyes a little. He looked cute, and delicious. Even more delicious than a taco.

I pondered over if it'd make me seem weird if I were to just stick my finger inside my mouth to take the damn piece out. Do I- oh, nvm it came out on its own.

"So, how are you feeling Riley?" He asked in his usual deep smooth voice, his dark stormy grey eyes light with fun and warmth.

"Fine, I guess" I shrugged my shoulders to which he perfectly raised his brow. How the fuck can people perfectly raise their one brow without the other one tagging along? Mine is a package deal, you raise both or you raise none, there is no in-between.

"Ok, that's lie, I feel like shit, but that's ok, I m just not used to working and running around after workers, it was cool" I said with a soft smile on my face. Even though my limbs are fucking dying, it was cool. The feeling of bossing and running around made me feel nice. Like an actual fucking adult. Who has her own house, and a stable job, even though wouldn't mind some drama here and there...

Like Hunter fires me and then I make him realize my worth and he comes back begging me to work back for him but I flip my hair in his face and bless him with the sight of my middle finger....

"Did they trouble you?" He asked quickly, his eyes filled with concern but I snickered.

"More like the other way round" I muttered under my breath but Hunter heard it anyways. Has he got super hearing like me too? He chuckled in response shaking his head and looked at me with a silly grin.

"Are you gay?" I blurted out before thinking, nothing new, and my eyes widen when I realized what my dumb ass fucking said. I face palmed and Hunter's eyes widen in surprise before he started to laugh. I joined in nervously cursing myself in my head.

"No Peaches, where'd you get this idea from?" He asked, his face shining with amusement probably judging how much of a crack I am.

"Nothing, you and that dude out there", who looked like he'd kill me while I sleep and then sell my organs all with a smile on his face, "looked weird, that's all" I hope I didn't blew my cover.

His eyes and face softened and he looked at me with a sad look on his face, "No no, its not like that, he's like my younger brother"

Thank God. I sighed in relief.

"What?" He raised his brows, with a teasing smirk on his face and my eyes widen horrified when I realized my fucking stupid dumb bitch ass mouth said that out loud. Fucking hell!

"Nothing" I said, too quickly, and just drank the water from the table. My face heat up a little and he looked at me with a stupid smirk on his face.

"Oh really? I'm almost positive I heard you say 'Thank God' or something along the lines of that" He looked at me raised brows, his face reflecting the oh-really expression. Ugh.

"No, no, I think your ears must be ringing or something" Really Riley? That's the best you could do?

"Come on, I know you can do better than that" He fucking teased and my face turned red in frustration as I scowled and my lips turned into a pout.

My fucking brain betrayed me, as I was unable to think of a perfect response, so I decided to do the next best thing, I picked up the flower from the vase and threw it at Hunter's face as he laughed loudly.

Very mature Riley, very mature. Seriously go jump off a cliff or kill yourself or something.

My face turned redder with anger and frustration and I sat there like a moody child crossing my noodle arms as Hunter continued to laugh at me and smirking teasingly.

Oh, just you wait Hunter. I m going to get you and I m gonna get you good.
